Your opinions are at least founded then! You have done the work and figured out your best results. Excellent! By all means keep doing what you are doing then! I was only questioning if you has actually done a comparison, many people are quick to judge before they have experimented.
I do not leech because I also have done my own experiments, my preference was for no leeching. Less labor, and larger dry weight.
Forum myth is spawned from more then genuine experimentation.
People seem to think they need to buy cannabis specific fertilizers, complete myth from start to finish. A prime example of forum myth that is often parroted by new growers. When it is parroted enough, cultivation forums become an echo chamber of misinformation and sometimes outright lies.
I grow in organic soil that has all nutrients available to my plant. From the day I sprout a seed to the end I only add water to my plants. Just water.
What benefit is choking my plant with too much water?
I would rather that my plants continue to stay beautiful and healthy until harvest time arrives, everyday growing even larger flowers without cannibalizing itself.
My own tests found:
Leeching is labor intensive
Decreased yield VS control plant
Zero smell or taste difference between control and leeched
Therefore I do not do it.
If your results are different keep doing what you are doing! Do not let me stop ya from growing some exceptional cannabis.
