Same dog, same papers, same temperament. Some may not be raised right, but them are some of the friendliest dogs you can get you want a guard dog don't get a pit they only look scary too pussies meanwhile I bust out some cheeseburgers me and your pit will be best friends.:bigjoint: Plus even if it was mean I can take at least 2 pits all you need to do is tuck your chin and watch your balls with a dog they got nothing else unless it is a truly powerful dog that weighs as much as a man but still I'll have a knife.

Just admit it you only like the color and red nose just sounds cooler.
Ive got a blue pit now and you are right, there are better guard dogs. Mine raises the alarm but my shepherd was silent and waiting.
neopolitan mastiffs are great for guarding. Dogo and corso also but are they allowed in the US?

Yeah you can have any dog in the US I got bit by a Neopolitan Mastiff. lol, Only in like Miami's county its illegal to own a pit. Really best guard dog I've found is Caucasian Ovcharka they are rare in the US and expensive as hell but I love that dog she loves me my wife and kid but a friend or my mom comes over she watches them like crazy they are from Georgia but the Russians tried to say its their breed the Russians use them as guard dogs in the prisons and military and they get over 200lbs you don't even need to train them dogs its just pure instinct to guard.

I get a kick out of it people talk all bad about pits but their are much more dangerous dogs takes damn near every muscle just to keep the damn dog in the bath I can only imagine getting in a fight with that dog I think I'd win but I'd be getting some more nice beauty scars.:bigjoint:

We have a staffordshire. Blue pitt/ american bd and a long hair chihuahua. Gotta say the Taco Bell dog is the one you should be scared of. Unless your not welcome on my property.

American bulldog blue pit mix is my new pup. Her dads head was the size of a small microwave. Wow. But I rescued my first "pit bull" from death row 10 years ago. He is now an old dog and been my best friend. Sad to see himaging and going blind slowly:(. However. Has been the best dog I've ever known. And before this I trained labs and shepards for the blind. None of those working dogs can match the will/ attention and loyalty this pit has. He has never been aggressive to anyone. who didn't deserve it. Good with kids. Just tries to eat tires every once in anwhile. not a fashion thing at all. Just great dogs.

my sisters a vet nurse and she rescued a white greyhound ex champ race dog, she still had her id tattoos in her ears and every time she walked in the room with family members there she'd stand still and act like shes being shown in front of a crowd before a race :(

after six month she comes in wagging her tail and acting daft and dog like .... Daft ha :)

the greyhounds only have 3 years to live if they don't get rescued, 1 year training and 2 year racing ... That's it , no love , no family and there eiither put down by the owner to he has room for a new one or rescued my TEARS a greyhound race dog rescue centre in England .

its quite sad and the people who say the dog loves its life isn't wrong ....... Its just not right that's all.

she's also got a blue samola cat ....... Had all its teeth pulled by the cat dentist ....... Struggles to hiss ;)

Any inherent breed related health problems? I've always like bully varieties, but their known health problems have kinda turned me away. I know 3 people who had bulls of some type and they either had breathing or hip issues before 10yrs old.
If you buy a purebred thwy do run a risk for hip dysplasia and run a risk of liver problems.

If you wanna add a couple years to your dogs life, buy liver and grind it into logs with carrots and peas. Mark into daioybserving sized logs and freeze. Pop one out a day and your dogs is gonna love you.

eating liver doesn't fix liver problems

No bro your all good , all of your posts were about loving animals & were posted with feeling for the animal , i actually enjoy some of your posts , your posts might be silly at times but they are your real thoughts & not shit meant to impress others , ya cant go wrong being yourself bro & ya should stop apologizing for being yourself .

What im not too hip on is how the thread got Pit Bull bashing posts , or my dog is better than a Pit Bull posts , the OP obviously loves the breed for his own reasons & some cheap shots were taken against the animal he is seeking .

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a red nose pit being his animal of choice , i thought it very tacky that some people would post what they dont like about his dog of choice , i understood fully what you meant about choosing an animal for love .

No he actually did quite good , he posted about rescuing a dog with a death sentence & about loving animals , he gave better responses than others who posted what they dont like about the breed , or how their dog is better .

He didnt say anything wrong in this thread & was apologizing to my comment where i said it was sad to see negative posts about your dog of choice .

Yup , BD's have been in our family over 30 yrs now & they've all been great , i love all bully breeds & hate the bad rap they get .

My wifes life was saved from a carjacker by one of our bulls & 2 burglars went to jail because of our Bulldogs , we've got a retired protection animal as my wifes helper dog & the 2 are inseperable.
