Tim's video is for recycling/re-ammending after a run. That what I do, I have totes that cycle in and out, never have to keep buying soil mixes. You can do Tim's recipe to a fresh bag, then your turning it more into a super soil. Tim's recipe is to put it all back in after the plant just used up during its full cycle. Scott does even less, I think he just does One Shot and maybe castings and cooks for 60 days,

right on !!! Scott just does one shot ...cook for 60-90 days seen guys go longer .. some times ill add worm castings and one shot to new soil . but the main thing I found out when reusing soil is that you don't use as much nutrients in veg , but in flower start harming it ... if using BK as a foiler in veg then Ill start feeding earlier ....again depends on my slurries , high ppm they get only tea feeds till ppm is in 300-500 range , I like 250-600 ppm range as long as the ph is in check ...

I went ahead and add some Be-1 pellets to two of the pots which has the amended soil in , gonna watch and see how quick they get eaten up (TD) .. @ week 5 in bloom ...slurry ppm 150/ ph 6.5 this got the tea brew with worm casting and oly mountain fish on 1-28-19 . today I fed @ ppm 1730 / ph 6.6 on roman regiment @ full strength ....will see how she response or not ...

They usually do about 2 shows a day, pretty cool. They have breeder interviews etc....you can watch old shows too, or listen but there's like 600+ videos in the library. Scott even does an interview way back in the early episodes.

watching this and I heard adding yucka to the brew ...
I didn't watch yet but don't do that, it will bubble over in seconds. Could add at the the end but I would only use thermX70 yucca as it's neutral ph won't mess up the microbes. I'm gonna check it out now.

There answer to that wasn't that good. Having a microscope is bad ass but even with a microscope you can not identify specific species....that's why it's so important to use high quality castings/compost. And the yucca in an AACT is not what you want to do unless you want to send soap suds all over the place. Now yucca in an instant tea is bad ass and I use it, he'll I put yucca in every single time I water/feed. The show kinda explained using with castings and recharge, which is a compost extract----you manually stir vigorously to extract all the living microbes from the Castings and then drench. Prolly the Easiest EZ TEA there is!! And like I said, you could possibly add pure yucca at the end of a AACT brew but adding anything at the end can really fuck shit up!! Even adding recharge at the end would be like a wrench in a wheel, recharge is awesome and all but why take a perfect brew that just took 24-36 hours to eat all your foodstocks and is prime time to get in the root zone and give it more molasses, kelp & humic extract, amino acids, and spores? WASTEFULL!! And will throw the teas balance off, Jack your Ph up, and destroy your dissolved oxygen....NOT RECOMMENDED!! Compost/EWC Extract, for sure. And I don't care what spore form microbe that's out there, it can't touch what an AACT can do when made correctly with high quality source material. Both application types are great but they both have there place as tools, and you can't compare to liquid microbe products either, they all have their benefits if you know how and when to use, that's the krux....too much misinformation out there, even label instructions don't help!!

You could tell they didn't know how to really answer the question.....bummer.....They go to GURU for shit like this, guy behind the scenes not on camera, but he didn't really nail the answer either. I use a cheap biology high school microscope to see if my brews are active, it works but my nose works just as good. Now a $700-$1,000 scope and you can identify microbe ratios but still can't identify specific species, you can see all the bacteria, hopefully a fungal hyphae and the protozoa swimming, occassionally a nematode. This is how you really up your game because then its different brew times to get more/less fungal or bacterial teas, or the all powerful protozoa teas!! 24 hour brews with good compost and food source and you get a balanced tea with everyone at the party!! Also, if you need yucca(saponins), throw in 2-3 Tbs. Alfalfa Meal .....loaded with saponins, great food source and have protozoa attached. Tea will definitely foam but is a normal foam like you see in videos.

Lol.....all the people that end up trying it will need to get there towels ready!! When I first started brewing I picked up the whole BounTea line and I don't care who you are, if you have a sufficient brewer, that shit is going all over the place. I didn't know what yucca even was at the time but its on their label in one of the foodstocks and it foams like crazy. My guess was most people think foam is a good thing so Bountea guarantees it!! B.S., the more I learned about teas, the more I realized how stupid the Bountea products are if used per instructions. There is great stuff in the Bountea system but they are just out to sell sell sell. They recommend like 8 cups of their compost, like a Cup of there dry food and then another cup of fertilizer the last 2 hours of brew. This seems crazy as all hell to me now!! I still use it from time to time but only like a couple Tbs......live & learn.

and now on youtube with bob people are going ape shit with bk .... lol... I left out of the bag how you can control the plant height with foliar or root drench ... of course I went in some detail how you can root drench bk in veg plants get lengthy or do as said as a foliar and keep the nodes tighter ... didn't want get into how you can make a sativa shorter and make a indica longer ... hell no...lol ...
