Yeah. I'm just throwing shit at the fan. But what's the rational for dismantling NATO?
I believe that was done to insulate this nation from European aid in reversing the domestic authoritarian momentum. I could be wrong.
First, I think Trump is part of Putin's gang. He was at first a money launderer and then an Russian asset in the WH. Trump harming NATO is Putin's gain. But politically within the US, it was an appeal to the right's US isolationist beliefs. That the US should only ever look inward.

Ukraine, for now and something to salve his burning asshole...
Restore the USSR with Russia the master.
These are already a given. I look at it this way. Right or wrong. The USA is the standard by which western democracy exists as we know it, as I've mentioned before. It's currently hanging by the skin of it's teeth. And half of the nation is apparently "Otay" with it.

Did you read the article Bagginski posted? It suggests that the plan was bigger than it currently appears. If so, ya gotta wait for the moment like a net fisherman. You want as many as possible of the big fish in, before you close it.
you're much more of a sportsman than i am...if i'm hungry i go kill something and eat it...if an animal goes rogue and starts terrorizing the area, you put it down, for the public safety...i'm not a hunter, i just do what needs to be done.

the spoiled, entitled, fearful, under educated, ignorant half...they used to be isolated, a lot easier to deal with, then the fucking internet got them all talking to each other, and a generation of fucking solitary weirdos becomes a major voting block...FUCK PROGRESS sometimes...they have to get the fuck rid of internet anonymity...from now on they should have internet user accounts, and each and every person on the planet has one. it clearly identifies who and where you are. don't want to have that info on the web? then STFU...
if they catch anyone hacking internet i.d.s, they get a long ass prison term, and forever banned from the internet. period. get caught twice? life. or long enough to make it the same as...
there has to be accountability for what you say, there has to be consequences for crimes...no more hiding behind cute avatars while unloading mountains of hateful horseshit

Not the right tactic in this situation imo. Captains of banking and industry have operated with impunity in this nation since before Eisenhower warned us a lifetime ago. The chance to snare even one in frank sedition is worth it. They have agent orange dead to rights. Meanwhile, his thrashing and that of associated others is informative in a rare way.

Not half, about 42% by my estimation and they are diminishing with each election cycle. That is why they need to cheat, lie and steal to gain power, they can't win on a level democratic playing field. They know they need to cheat and the base is all in, but many independents who lean right, are not. Winners don't whine and don't need to cheat to win, they don't need to lie, or engage in political violence and domestic terrorism either. The GOP disqualified themselves from office, even the moderate ones are part of a terrorist organization that aids, abets and defends domestic terrorism, treason and sedition.

you have more faith than i do as well...until i see that one captain of industry going down with his ship, i'm doubtful that they'll ever actually be prosecuted for anything...i'm still doubtful cheeto will ever be convicted for anything, and i'm not sure if he'll ever be charged with anything over these documents or not...they operate within a system they help corrupt. they all know how to get out of trouble, and they've done it time and again. it's easy to say "not this time", but in reality, what is to stop them? they've ignored the consequences this long, without repercussion...why would that change? the same people who were in charge of this shit last year are in charge of it this year.

The Internet is just a byproduct of issues/systems that haven't been corrected or advanced for much too long. The list is endless.

I don’t know if it is faith. It does seem to me that the situation is extraordinary. I am pleased to see DOJ and the Committee act with the slow certainty of an ice sheet on the move.

That 42% is close enough to half as far as I'm concerned. There's a huge public perception issue that needs to be corrected, and fast. I'm not just talking about USA voters in that public domain neither. I'm seeing it with people I'd never have thought would have the lack of awareness to what's going on around them. And it's been deliberate in it's execution.
