superthrive is going to cause your ph to gradually drop. all the time. i'm using no ph down at all, only up. i'll stop with the st next res change, as st is not needed in mid to late flower, you don't want to trick the plant for more roots at that point, you want it to make buds.I am constantly having to add pH down to my solution. Di yiu guys recommend anything to stabilize the pH? I am using filtered tap water (through a PUR filter) so I'm guessing that may be part of the issue.

a determining factor too, is how often are you replinishing the water and nutes??
If your water is a good PH to start with, and after you add the nutes, is it still a safe PH ? If so, maybe, MAYBE you need to change it more often.
I can tell you that I killed only one plant, and it was from changing the PH too often, too much, too fast.
st is a drop per gallon.I change my nutes every 7 to 10 days now. I went 2 weeks once and the plants looked awful.
My tap water has a pH of about 7.9. After adding nutes, I get it down to about 5.3 or so with pH down. I'll come back later that same day and the pH is back to 6.2 or so. I'm having to use so much pH down that it drives my TDS up also.

..............that's not right, 5.1 is way low. 5.5 to 6.2 is what your window is, and what you should be aiming for. i'll pm mogie or rollitup to have it changed or deleted. wow, that sux babe
