i need help period i have no idea what im doing i have seeds germinating i need help

i started a plant about two weeks ago and it was doiung ok untill i put it in miracle grow then it died over a course of two days how should i start my plant tell me what to do i really need the advice

Why did you decide to use Miracle Grow?

^^not a very good post.

man the plants dont need much nutrient when they start out just take it very slow with the nutrients. just try planting in soil again and lettin it pop out and just keep using only clean distilled or tap water. after a few weeks they should be wanting more nutrient. potting soil already has alot of the nutrients they need. just keep watering but not too much water. try watering every other day or so and keep it simple

i used it because it said it was good for it but it immidietly killed it how should i start it also im poor and it was all i had

how far should my 40 watt bulb be

i mix dirt with soil for my outside rose bushes. i would imagine thatd be good for a seedling aswell. then after its on its 4-6th node you can start adding small amounts of ntrient and see how the plant likes it

also try to use common sense and try to understand plants in general a little first

it should be a well ventilated room and not above 90degrees but i keep my cfls 2-4 inches away

remember im pretty broke also i started it in regular dirt that i made

i chopped up very small pieces of wood and good healthy dirt and then misted it with water while stirring it and grew it in that it was fine till i made that switch to miracle killer

MG soil is too hot for weed to grow in. see if theres a hydro store near you an pick up fox farms soil. if not try to get some other potting soil that isent hot (full of nutes)you lights need to be as close to the plants as they can get without burning them. put you hand between the light an your plant, if it is hot to your hand its hot to the plant. geta fan blowing on the bulb to cool it off

cause like i said its only a 40 watt but it is a bulb that puts all its light in front of it no side its like a cone

What kind of light? im hoping you say cfl, but im afraid your going to say halogen/incandesent. a cfl or tubes should be a few inches from the plant and halogen should never be used period.

You know he/she is going to say it. lol.

That's why I asked him/her why he/she decided to use MG. Straight away I could tell they haven't done adequate research.
I like to try to get them to think and realize that they really need to do the research.
