I use a hot shot no pest strip on my spidermites and it kills them every time,I'm sure they would work with blackflies too.I've heard of whiteflys but never blackflies. Is it OK to be talking about this lololol

I would use Monterrey spray way before neem. Neem is stinky nasty stuff and it doesnt work as well. You could use once a week and up to two weeks before harvest with better smoke and better results. I have used many bottles of neem but never again it sucks...

yea i've never heard of blackflies either. probably fungus gnats. i have the same problem approaching again. 2 inches of sand on the top of your soil and a half full cup of apple cider vinegar (+1 drop of dish soap) down by your pots. the sand prevents the eggs from hatching properly and the adults fly right into the vinegar. works for me.

i think they are fungus gnats, they crawl around my soil base of the plant, they dont fly much, but have wings. and they are drinking the big fan leaves!!

right, scrap the neem oil, ive gone for DE and some sticky strips. this shud do it!!
Same here with the DE. Fox Farms Ocean FOrest always comes with free fungus gnats so every time I start a plant I will spread a layer of DE over the top after planting. No more gnats. Good luck.
