Yes, it should be feel like a community or family. And a good business person would cultivate that and draw people into their site. But, it is a business and right now the owners are not making anyone feel warm and fuzzy.

the threads were deleted due to all the drama posted in them.

this thread is on it's way as well.

once YOU ALL can stop insulting each other, the site and it's staff then posts and threads will no longer need to be deleted.

I think part of the reason the threads were deleted was the number of knuckeheads posting very disprespectfull things.....I am raising a glass of cold certified coors light mixed with Clamato juice and smoking a fatty of some kinda kickass kush for the Stoned Pony tonight at 7:30pm EST if anyone else cares to join in.

his ticker went out on him...id of thought cancer would have got him first. he was probably one of the coolest guys on rui.he was loved by many and all the threads pertaining to stoned pony and his passing have been deleted. i was hoping at least one thread would still be "allowed". this is censorship at its finest it seems like...

this is an "accusation" against the site that is not backed by any facts. simply an "accusation" made in a negative manner.

I can see it from RIU point of view, there were too many threads about the sudden demise of Stoney. Actually, as the older members die off we may never know it or we would hear about and then we would have too many individual RIP threads.

I do agree that RIU should have given more time for the mourning process and the passing along of the information of the news of his passing. Unless they had a request from the family.

We should not forget that RIU is a business and needs to be run as such.

Edit: Gee, that sounded a little heartless. I'm sorry. We should have some way of letting other members know when someone passes.

his good friend got on riu and delivered the sad news.ponys real name was....well he went by the name hook in the real world. dont want to say his real name...that may be why the thread was closed. i was waiting on some info on his wake but thread was deleted before ponys friend could give out the info. yea its a big loss for those of us who related to his personality. with all the bs threads on this site i cant buy the reason was to unclutter the forum. i see lots of other clutter much less serious, but im not up on all that. anyways...yes sadly pony is passed on to biker heaven where im sure he was ushered into the other side by bros who passed on before him. ride on s.p. ride on!!!

RIU is a privately owned website that was created as a "hobby" by someone who had some free time and free server space. over the years it has become HUGE. the owner rarely visits. he has left the site to the mods and it's members. it is NOT a business. your rumors are not helping anything.

I did insult FDD because my emotions were running high, FDD i do apoligize, i should have chosen more respectful words, but again i also expected more from u as a mod and a man . Stonedpony was recently banned but he had alot of friends and followers on here who just liked his crazy vidoes and silly ass humor that always made even the hardest troll crack and giggle. So to have a mod let a known troll and non weed grower say such rude things in a thread aimed to spread the sad news pathetic! And this after i had recently asked he be banned for harrassing me personaly, (thanks potroast, now that's a cool guy)!!!!
But i was rude and should not have insulted u, i am sorry.

Stonedpony is forever in the heart and minds of many!!!
