I need help starting a tent grow from scratch.

ok everyone. I wanna start a tent scrog grow. I wanna know what size tent? what kind of light t5 or the 250 watt hps? I wanna how many and size fans I would need. what size pots should I use. so if anyone has a tent grow going. I would love to here from you. any help would be great. I was thinking of this light with this tent. what do you think. any other suggestions?

I run 2 4x4 tents one veg one flowering. veg tent is just a sunblaze 44 (4ft 4 bulb)t5 and a regular household ossolating fan. Flowering is 600w cooltube, 4" inline fan(192cfm) and filter, 2 6 inch clip on fans at canopy height and a dayton 240cfm axial fan about 6 inches off the floor. Passive intake with a filter I made from a furnace filter. Works grwat for me. Others say a 4inch inline wont cool a 600w but mine is doing the job well. I bought my tents, hps light, and inline fan from virtual sun hydroponics check them out great prices and free shipping on orders $25 and up. Id def go with a hps and would look in to a centerfugal (miss spelled im sure lol) fan and not those duct booster fans. Pot size depends on how tall you want to grow them. My biggest issue is heat from a dehumidifier in the room I think a portable ac unit will be needed for me in the summer. Hope this helps

I wanna do a scrog tent grow. I just wanted to know what I would need or what would be good? what size tent. what size or what kind of light? what size fans, how many? what size pots and how many plants I should grow?

One plant scrog or multiple? Where r u putting ur tent n how much room do u have? U have to figure that shit out before asking for advice on what u need. But, by what ur looking @ to buy, u prolly only need a 2x2x5 tent. 1 to 4-3gal pots, 4" inline centrifugal fan n filter and possibly a speed controller, along with small oscillating fans for circulation inside.. If u wanna use t5 id go with atleast a 2' 6 or 8 bulb fixture. HID lighting is much better tho (IMO), 250w will work in that small of an area. It costs more upfront but will save u in the long run, more bang for ur buck(also my opinion). Hope this helps.. good luck bro

well I am thinking 1 maybe 2. I seen a scrog grow with 1 plant with a waterfarm set-up. it was huge.

2x2 tent, 6 plants in 1gal pots, 12/12 from seed , passive air intake into a carbon filter then through a 250W HPS cool tube then exhausted with a 50CFM bathroom exhuast fan.....2 small fans for circulation in the tent............done deal.......1 oz every 30 days avg......if you need more, then go bigger.....If you wanna SCROG the same setup, double the yield.....
