finished trimming. first harvest!

Just finished the trimming last night! Just a pic of them hanging. Close up with cell phone without flash so wikid crappy pic. Total of 9 plants that were about 2.5ft tall in a scrog... depressed on how small the top nugs shrunk but they are solid. Go into jars tmr cause some feel dry on outside already.

My aim was 1.5 lb total... but idk they shrunk alot

Look sooo much better in person. I tried to hold up to a light for the picture. They taking up half the tent so about a 4x4 section.

Nice work man, for a first time who cares how much you yield as long as you actually finish! Most first timers fail within a month.

Its funny... my place smelt like skunk whole 3 weeks before cutting down... now i walk in and it smelt like fresh plant.

congrats! looks good but i would take those fan leaf stems off a little closer to the stalk.

Very nice looking harvest - my congratulations sir.
I would caution you to wait a bit before you jar - a couple of days dry time may not be enough & mold is heartbreaking.
The interior moisture will balance out & the outside will again feel moist if you jar too early.

Again, accolades my friend.

Ok, so good and bad news... bad news is they sat for 2 days hanging and were really crispy. So today i put them in jars and hopefully i dont need to add orange peel or anything. We will see cause they were dry dry.

Good news is even with it all crispy dry it wieghed out too 2lb and 15.5oz... so 47.5 oz or 1330grams which is shitty as my 8x4 tent had 3000w in it. Like i said plants were only 2.5ft tall and 9 total also the stuff under screen shouldve been chopped off cause airy small buds.

Noooo, don't fall at th elast hurdle my friend. Too early for the jars, they will sog up, compact and stick together.

Did you have all of your fans and ventilation running? if so, thats where you screwed up. one fan directed toward the wall or ground is plenty. you want to dry the flowers as slow as possible, but not slow enough to grow mold or anything.

Yeah, i just handed some out today. Been in jars just for weekend an everyone said smokes awesome... doesnt have much of its smell yet but it will come back im sure. Buds are still alittle hard but getting soft alittle bit if you understand what i mean lol
