Roll one, grab a cup of coffee, and read/ search. Experts, which I am not, I am sure will be glad to answer your question, but you must be willing to put in the same energy and effort. Save your questions for the stuff you cannot find in the forums.

has anybody who posted before me actually grown a marijuana plant outside?? Im guessing no since you guys have not added any tips....

Heres a few.. dont make a trail going directly to your spot.. dont tell ANYBODY else or you will probably get ripped off. Scout your area and buy a small shovel and you may need an ax or saw to clear an area you want to grow in. Bugs might be a problem so try ed rosenthals herbal pesticide.. it worked great when I had a problem with leaf hoppers and spider mites.. dont leave your garbage scattered around your spot. hide your tools very well. I will add more later but I have to go do something right now :peace:

As much as I see your point, this guy needs more than a few tips... he needs to start by reading the info thats all ready out there and then he can ask for clarification and tips. You've got to learn to walk before you can run.

There's all this information right at your fingertips.... You get out of it what you put into it. Go delve deep into the pages and pages of great information (and much useless banter!).

My tip: Learn about soil biology and the ecosystem that is living in your roots (if you have a healthy plant), it's what I'm doing now! I'm reading this book, and it's great: http://www.amazon.com/Teaming-Microbes-Organic-Gardeners-Revised/dp/1604691131/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1360290552&sr=1-1&keywords=teaming+with+microbes. Try using Subcool's Super Soil (https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/338384-2010-revised-super-soil-recipe.html) as your nutrients or grow organically, made a very noticeable difference in the few years experience I have. Also, if you're new to growing, don't worry about your plant so much. I know it's hard not to, but this plant is very strong and resilient, have faith in it. Good luck my friend!

I see your point however you gave him information that may not apply to his grow. What they were saying was read up and come up with more specific questions.

This will stop (or slow) the confusion the poster may have.

Where are you located?
What strains are you growing?
In ground or in pots?
Soil? Store bought or made? If made what is your recipe?
Additional feeding?
Pest control?

Those are a few things that the OP can start with to get the ball rolling with what he/she may need to know.

Hope that helps a little. And I suck at growing. I just like to smoke and watch the plants. LOL

oh feel free to speak your mind.. dont be a pussy.
Don't be a pussy? It's the internet... When I said there's a lot of useless banter you have to read through before you can get a solid piece of information I was referring to people like, um I don't know, you? I'm trying to help OP, not post useless crap on his thread.

...which you just tricked me into doing... touche sir...

Grow from the roots up. Don't look to the future cause it's a day by day process and many things can go wrong outdoors. Start y your research by finding a good soil then due some more research on good genetics and by that I mean what strains are going to be good for your particular area. So start with good dirt and good seed and you will learn as you go. Lots of variables go along with this but you can do it . Good luck !

Get all the sun you can. Dig as big a hole as you can then backfill with amended soil and repeat. Water as needed. Just some basics 4 u

how am I troll? because your a noob??

Sorry but I would never take grow advice from a guy that pulls 1 oz dry off a outdoor weed plant in a 5 gal bucket lmao ... you werent lying when you said you suck at growing..

oh feel free to speak your mind.. dont be a pussy.
I never claimed to be better than anyone. 1 oz dry huh? That was my first grow, planted in July, with zero veg. How about the 2lb reveg plant I pulled 2 seasons ago? Oh wait.. You don't believe in reading.

And you didn't point out what information I gave was wrong. This is supposed to help the OP correct? How is you being a douche going to assist in their grow.

Enjoy.

People like you are the reason I no longer feel the need to post my grows. :) Fucking trolls.

dudes this isnt a flame each other thread or a thread to show off your bad case of "internet bawlls".

ON TOPIC:
I have never grown outside but from what I have read so far, scout a potential area a few times and if you have the time, maybe just hang out there one day to see if someone comes near or if there is only sunlight at a certain part of the day. If you live in a climate where its really hot and rains alot, find strains that are mold resistant and try to find grow journals of people in/near your state or possibly just with a similar climate. Like stated earlier reading is the easiest way to learn on here because there are ass holes who will be complete dicks about it (not singling anyone out) I would suggest you read this: https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/399274-guerrilla-guide.html it will help get the wheels turning with the whole outdoor growing scene. Good luck and if you have any questions just ask and one of the RIU'ers who are not dick heads will help you :D
