I wasn't attempting to be funny. I am probably as old, if not older than you.

Once again.

Please keep this thread on topic and help the OP.

you can try reading this, I haven't read this article but I think it will be good for you http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/3369.html

oh and dont respond to cobra, he is just raging and wanting post count. Its like that bully in elementary school, once you ignore them they stop. Oh and reporting the posts for spam/offensive material helps ;D

Also to the OP if you are looking for soil suggestions you can check out the organics section. There are several options in there if you are looking to make your own if you choose to go that way.

gonna start growing outdoors hopefully, anyone got any tips on what its like? figured i would just jump into it and see how it goes ha ha, just kidding. I hear you cant come close to indoor quality and it always has a funky smell no matter how you cure it.

experts let me hear it!!

Much appreciated though:)
I grew my last outdoor crop this past season. Getting to old for all the work. I have been doing it for 30 yrs. I know a thing or two about cropping outside. Common sense comes in handy. Know your area, make sure your grow site isnt in a bottom, make sure there is enough direct sunlight, if you are in a wooded area check for any dead limbs or dead trees in close proximity that could fall and damage your crop and if at all possible try to find an area that has water hauling water is a bitch, no paths, dont tell anyone, no trash the list go's on and on if you want more info PM me I would behappy to help........but most important USE YOUR HEAD BE SMART ! And just know sometime that isnt enough but the rewards for me anyway far out weigh the problems you may encounter

another thing, bring your dog (if you have one, if not adopt one they're really fun) so that way if someone happens to see you entering, leaving, or just walking around in the woods, it doesnt look suspicious. What Im going to do (im thinking of going scouting tomorrow) is bring a back back with one of those small shovels you can get at army surplus stores and my dog so that way if i find a place I like I can check out the soil easily and if for some reason a butt head cop decides to search you you can say you brought it along so when your dog poos you can flip the soil over so no one steps in it or some BS like that.

for the outside i was kinda thinking of using a greenhouse so maybe it would be easier. dont have to do any scouting or wonder if someone can see it all to well. ive grown indoor a lot and so im hoping i can just take that knowledge and use it in the outdoor. as far as strains going i was thinking of Big Bud, Aussie Blues, Azura, California Dream, Charas, Cali Skunk, Cheese, Light of Jah, MAry juana, Tatanka and i think i also looked at Waikiki Queen. Anyone ever grown any of those? I might try what i have currently now, but those are the ones i would like to try. Soil i was thinking of using basic soil and mix in lime and pearlite. seems to have worked in the past. although idk outdoor i might need to add something specific to make it thrive a little better.
