Hey what's up rollitup? Everythings been going good. The canopy is like 6 inches from the light, and the leaves are still "reaching" for the light, which I've always taken as a good sign. I know I've got to get a little more space, not to mention I have nowhere to put carbon filter etc., so I think I will be making the move to the 3x3 sometime this week.

All color has been good and plants have all seemed to like the pruning of the weaker lower branches. I planted the clones in solo cups, and took 4 new clippings. I took a lot smaller clippings, and they all look good so far, so if they root well I'm going to start with some of those Bday seeds and see if I can find a few nice mamas.

I appreciate anybody still checking these out. They are at that weird stage where I can't really take any good pictures of what is going on. Everything is throwing lots of pistils, and I've got this one Sour Haze that is an absolute beast that is stanking so good and has so many good looking bud sites that I can already tell it's going to be something special.

Here are the best pics I could find:

I came across a led tube company in the new LED Magazine making a 2400K tube. I already contacted them. Hoping it will provide a ton of 630-650. I could so use 2 of them NOW

Well, the plant's started stretching into the lights and I knew it was time to get some more canopy space if I wanted t get the most out of this lamp. The plants weren't showing any signs of light stress, and in fact it was almost as if they had some sort of "magnetic" like pull on them, so I figured it was a good day to swap tents.

First line of work was to swap the SGS with the older model AF-120 (I think that's the right number, anyways it the 8 spot A51 from last year I believe) I currently had in the 3x3. I am just loving what this light has been doing so far, and I knew I wanted to see it thru. It's so awkward doing all this shit with only 2 hands, but it's not like it's something I can call my neighbor over for right?

Then I had the task of moving the 7 ladies into the tent. I hadn't realized how topping kind of makes the plant a little more "spindly" until now (I think I might have to add some support once these buds start packing on some weight.) So I got everything arranged to my liking, and didn't have anything go wrong so overall I am very, very pleased with the move and probably should have done this at least a week ago.

So then I got to wondering why I hadn't swapped out the HTG for my other A51 yet. I figured I could run it on Veg mode and it would increase my efficiency. So that's what I did yesterday and I took some pics:

This morning I transplanted the clones from their solo cups.

Thanks for stopping in! According to Area 51 the maximum coverage for the SGS-160 is 36"x36x so a little less than 1m x 1m, so two would cover at max 1.8 x .9m. However, the recommended coverage is 20" x 36", or 40" x 36" for two. With that said, 2 of these things should be able to handle the 2 plant SCROG to perfection. It hardly gives off any heat, or uses any energy, and the lights are positioned perfectly.

I dont want to say the wrong thing so you should probably holler at the folks at A51 to be sure.

Hey folks.. Here goes a picture update.. My clones were kinda slow for the first 10-14 days and then they just SNAPPED! I was wondering if it was even worth cloning, but now I know it's a vital part of all this.. Finding the keeper phenos and running w them. After taking 8 clipping over the past 3-4 weeks, I decided I would throw the mother in the bloom room to see how she finishes..

I plan on keepin one of the clones as a new mother, and taking two clippings from both of the Chemdawgs. Once that's finished and I free up some more space, I will begin working on some of the Attitude Bday seeds.. I got 2 bday orders so I have all the freebies x2, and I know a lot of yall have ran them already, so what do you guys think I should start with?

What up to all my fine folks out there on the double-you double-you double-you!?! Things are going off without a hitch.. almost too good, to be honest. I really think that by me tending to my vegetable garden this year and last, I was able to get a good connection with our "plant brothers." That has seemed to transferred over to this other fine plant, and I have been able to keep my leaves nice, green, and perky this time around.

I was out of coir for the past week or so (after potting the first 4 clones,) and I can tell you I swear I never thought I would finish that "huge" brick of coco when I first got it. Before I digress too much, today was a pretty big day. My last 4 clones (clones 5-8) were really needing to go in their solo cups ASAP so that was my first line of business. I then decided that my one mother plant I kept was getting to be a little too big almost so I had to figure out what to do with that. I was thinking about putting it in the other 3'x20" but realized I would need more head room, so I wound up putting it in the boomin bloomin room(in). I then decided to hook the HTG back up in the 3'x20" and put the first group of clones in there.

Then I remembered my Chemdawgs needed some room to play as well, and I had put that off until I could procure the coco. So I got them out of their solo cups and got them in their planters as well. I was just about to put them in with the first set of clones when I remembered how foolish I felt by not taking a clone from my "bad bitch." So I clipped 2 clones from each and got them ready to go to their appropriate places.

My Sour Haze are finishing so well I almost am afraid they might b pregnant. If not, I am going to be in for a sweet sweet reward at the end. They are already covered in triches, and smell great. I know I still have quite a way, but I will have something going every two-three weeks now, and I hope it will be more of a perpetual grow than anything. So far the Area-51 is beating out the Cali Lightworks. However, I should note I did leave the best plants under the SGS for the most part.

Not to toot my own horn, but this grow is really turning into something special. I don't have any nute-burn or lockout issues. No bug/pest issues, and just overall healthy ladies. I have been smoking on my autos the past month or so, and I can say that I am no longer even getting a buzz. So harvest can't come soon enough lol.

Well.. I did a count of my numbers and I was getting up there too high. In addition, some of the plants were getting choked out. So I tore most of it down and will have to build back up. What I'm going to do is find that super mother now that I know how to clone, and start runnin (3) 3 gal hempy buckets. I figure my next step of progression will be to get a Scrog going soon. It was so hard to decide to cut the numbers... but I have seen too many people getting busted for things that are out of their control (i.e. police doing search for missing inmates just busted a super small time op in my area.)

I have a seperate apartment for my "hobby" so I thought I was doing everything pretty smart. I have a family that I was hoping to help support with said "hobby," but if I aint around what good would I do for anybody?

hey man!! ordering one of these and thats what my questions about: what significance would you give the light reflecting mats you have on your walls? isnt it obsolete considering the angle of the leds? I mean, the light isnt a 360º like normal lamps. gotta know if I need it for my closet or if my white walls will do just fine. hope youll take the time to answer, your plants are looking great and looking forward to the upcoming photoes.
