My son returned home from Australia today, it was a surprise to see him and my heart is full of joy. He didn't tell me he was coming, he wanted it to be a surprise and boy it was exactly that! He decided to come home because he didn't like the hot weather and the flies. We are not used to the hot weather here in the UK but we are used to rain lol. He had got himself a job out their but said the heat was a nightmare and everyone thought it amusing that he thought it was hot telling him their summer had only just started and he hadn't experienced anything yet! I feel complete again now, he ate a huge roast dinner and fell asleep immediately after it. I am one Happy Granny Weed tonight.

There is nothing like having them home and safe. Hopefully that altercation has blown over? I remembered how you were on pins and needles just before he left too. How is he feeling too?

I think he's glad to be home Annie, he enjoyed himself but theirs nothing like home, and he missed having his washing done and his meals cooked for him lol. The trouble is we don't have high temps in the UK and when we go on holiday or should I say vacation we are always glad to get back for a rest from the heat, so I knew he would struggle, anyway I'm glad he's home where he should be. Since he's been gone I have spoken to the family who we had trouble with and I think I can safely say things will be okay between us, so onward and upward! xx

He amused the locals by complaining about it being hot! And he said he had a macdonalds and he had just got his burger out of the wrapping and the flies were on it haha he was not happy. There is something to be said for rainy old England  Hope you are okay and enjoy your summer xx

My heart was in pieces I felt like I was missing a body part the whole time he was gone, so I know exactly how your mom felt. We spend most of our adult lives caring for our children morning noon and night, our whole life revolves around them and we worry continuously then suddenly they are all grown up and leave you! How fair is that.
