The plants that i tried this method on got bigger and yielded more than the plants that I gave flowering nutes at the time that i induced flowering. With all that being said though this strain is a still a low yielder I've been averaging about 1.5 oz per plant under a 600w even with all the training and topping etc so I am actually letting her go after this round because I need a better yielding strain if Im going to be doing all of that work lol. But I must say its been a NICE run with her. Even though she doesnt yield well, she flowers REALLY quick and she is REALLY REALLY dank! so I guess that is the trade off. she would be a top notch cash cropper if she would ATLEAST constantly yield 2 oz plus per plant. But maybe you will find a better yielding pheno because I only grew out one seed when I first started and took all of my clones from that one plant. Have fun tho you wont be disappointed with her and all your friends will be dying to smoke her lol she's really top shelf dank

I let a few grow naturally during my experiments and those only yielded about 21 grams. so topping into a bush is a must...sorry if im repeating myself. You can basically go crazy with the nutes on the 818 she will damn near eat anything you give her and make sure you hit her with plenty of cal-mag during both veg and flowering cycles. she's honestly ready at 7 weeks flowering if you just have to cut her but if you let her go the full 9 weeks she is KILLERRRR! Also another trick i've learned with the 818 is to leave her on veg nutes for about 2 weeks after you switch to 12/12.

OK yeah you are definately going to want to top her. I would advise to let her get as big as you possibly can before topping her you are going to want as many nodes as possible with this strain because she doesnt get tall at all...Mine have been averaging out at about 2-3 foot. So You're going to have to veg the HELL outta her to get a 5 foot plant. I dont think the uncle ben's method would work well for this plant because you will need more than 2-4 main colas to get a decent yield. you want to train her into a nice bush with an even canopy as I've realized with this strain to get nice sized buds you want to force all the buds to grow at the top so you're gonna want to get that even canopy and clip any smaller buds that are growing at the bottom. in my experience yields are VERY low if you dont train this plant.
