Did I spot early signs of a hermie?

I see no evidence of a Hermie because there are no pistils.........looks like a male to me.

    Clawing leaves / stunted growth

I would flush with a weak nutrient solution.........then start feeding twice a day to substantial run off with a pH around 6.0. Lower your EC to around 1.0 to 1.5 at the most. Never give plain water and never let the coco dry.

Soil / coco coir / perilite mix

I don't recommend mixing coco with soil...........they have different pH requirements and different watering/feeding requirements. Coco should stay saturated and soil needs a wet/dry cycle. Good luck and welcome to RIU.

Complete newbie - failure.... babies are in trouble... yet again :( HELP!!!!

Just use coco and Perlite............70% coco and 30% Perlite. Ditch the worm castings. Start in solo cups and start feeding to run off around 3-4 days from sprout using a pH around 6.0. Never use plain water and never let the coco dry. I usually transplant to a larger pot around 2 weeks from...
