It all depends on how much you're willing to risk. I got a buddy who just throws them in coco in solos and puts them under a dome and gets 75% success and hes very happy with things

Np. Thought I'd share. I got too much stuff to do on the daily than babysit clones haha. Plus I grow legally where I have a plant count, so I don't like to take risks losing a bunch of cuts :peace:

Cuz both methods have their drawbacks...aero cloned you have to closely monitor water temps, solutions, ph, etc. Also have to monitor for pathogens or molds, etc. Clone domes have drawbacks to as far as when to water, how much to water once they dry, etc. Not to mention I've never seen success...

On topic-honestly nowadays I only take cuts of what i need-because i get 100% success rate-but it came with a cost. First, I put them in the diy aero cloner with full strength UC roots and hormex for 5 days with brand new neoprenes. THEN I'll throw them in jiffy pucks that I soak in a diluted...

You dont want to use distilled water either bro, it doesnt give accurate ph readings either. Plus its negatively charged right? If you're running to the store, run to wal mart and get the 5 gallon jug of reverse osmosis. It's cheaper too. After you buy the jug first, it's like 30 cents a gallon...

And I cant recommend to someone to use their tap water unless they know what's in it or have tried it before. It could have a high total alkalinity, I've seen it happen before. Or you have well water and you think you have 300ppm of calcium but really its 300ppm of iron.:wall:
