    Ready to harvest?

Just curious about what strain that is? Interesting looking plant...and an early harvest is better then none. JD

    Ready to harvest?

Hi Gaz, Leafy strain, hard to see the buds. I recently had a bud rot and I chose to harvest. It's really your call. You expecting wet weather this time of year? If so chop...but if weather looks good...hang in there a bit longer. I just bought a little microscope and am finding it hard to...

Diggs99 : Everything GROWS anything GOES!

Cool...nice to have plenty of space. I don't and if things get overcrowded...I have to remove some plants. I try and avoid that. We're having more heat now then we did all summer...but luckily I had some plants finish. So just riding things out till my sativas finish. Then a good clean-up...

Diggs99 : Everything GROWS anything GOES!

Hi Diggs, You've got a nice op going there. You sure you can fit those 8 plants in there once fully grown? It's gonna be tight. Hey...nice work on the thread too. Great pictures... The Lucas formula can be closely approximated using GH Maxi-bloom throughout. (per Lucas) Easy and cheap...

3gal vs 5gal pot for coco

Hi Guys, I've been growing mostly in 3gal grow bags. Just recently though. I discovered an issue with 12 week sativas. This was a new problem for me, but I read a post implying that over time...being rootbound can cause overwatering symptoms. Everything gets crammed in there after...

Let's see pics of pure sativa

You're sorta wired backward Raggy...Afghan is usually so mellow. But if super powerful and maybe with an early harvest could be rather edgy. I too find Thai pretty chill... JD

Please help ASAP about to lose 3 colas.

Tom, As unlikely as it might be...an infection may have been introduced. I mean if it happened once in a thousand toppings...you may have just gotten unlucky. Maybe someone knows of a systemic agent that will cure that. Sorry...no clues. My general philosophy in growing is really low nutes...

Please help ASAP about to lose 3 colas.

Tom, Back when this started...had you done any topping or branch cutting? I understand that infection can set in after cutting a branch. Only thing I can think off... JD

    Should I add more buckets?

Hi Wych, I would definitely do a couple runs "as is" before adding buckets. Looks to me like you could squeeze in 3 rows...but not 4. JD

    Started to manifold my auto...

Yes and the silica will also do it's other things. Stronger stems and such. I only grow indoors and haven't dealt with bugs much so don't have an insecticide to reccomend...but good luck with that. JD

    Buds?

That's just bad luck. There are a bunch of ideas floating around out there to encourage females. Most of it sounds like bro-science...but there could some truth too it. Might be worth a try. Actually fems aren't that bad. I got some via a seed seller mistake...and they are growing nicely...

    Started to manifold my auto...

Hi nug, Are you using silica at all. I understand that silica applied as foliar spray can change leaf ph and discourage insects and powder mold. Totally safe...something to consider. JD

    Is this bud rot, mild?

Cooler temps and lack of air movement are common factors. I would definitely remove one to save the other three. JD

    Buds?

If you didn't know this one was balls...how can you be sure you didn't throw out the females? Getting 5 males would be unlikely. You should have posted earlier. Don't go to the dark side though. Fems are ok but you really should learn how to deal with all that. Makin' seeds and crosses and...

Let's see pics of pure sativa

Hi Guys, This one will blow your minds...well those not already blown. It's Golden Tiger which is a cross between two landraces. Actually there were two Malawi and two Thai parents so it's not an F-1. This one is the shortest sativa I have ever grown. I did Nebs manifold training and put it...

Canna coco what's your feed schedule in flower?

Hi Bandit, I use GH Maxi series and feed Maxibloom peaking at 700ppm by week5 or so. That's a powdered nute but a good bloom ratio n(5-15-14) Hey in the picture...those leaves on the right bottom. That white is merely reflected light...correct? JD

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

Hey Al, Hope you survived the summer, I did OK till recently when it got a little warm. Luckily I had 4 eight weekers to harvest and I shut off one light...leaving my 3 Golden Tigers which are getting close now. I think I have three different phenos. One very Thai, one very Malawi and one...

Hi Spazz, They will outgrow it. FFOF is often too rich for seedlings. JD

Anyone ever experiment with geometric growrooms?

Grower, I remember several guys who set up rooms with parabolic shape. It was longitudinal with each side wall meeting in the center. Then they mounted a bare bulb at the loci of the parabola so that all reflected light is directed straight downward. JD
