Hi Greg,
Those small cubes can dry out fast. Did they ever get really dry? Actually they look a little dry right now.
I would place them in a so;o cup surrounded by whatever media you're planning on using. Is the taproot sticking out the bottom?
6 days of stalled growth is a bad sign...good...
If you have a single cola sat like some Haze strains...they will work. But for example I am growing out a Thai phemo Golden Tiger and it's wildly branchy and wile it may be ok for a scrog...but for sog...no.

Hi Jypsy,
People seem to do well with ph 6.4 ph in FFOF so not sure that's an issue.
@mantist0b0ggan just checking if you are secure in your ph meter accuracy. Not super critical in soil...but could be significant if way off...

You mentioned bumping your light to 75%...that won't accomplish what you want. Just move the light and leave intensity alone
It does not look like a deficiency at all. How's your air movement and fresh air exchange?

Mantis,
Many plants have been grown in FFOF so not the problem. Your room seems to be dialed in far as RH and temp. Raising the lght is about all you have left. The goal is raising a healthy plant...and apparently they don't like the light that close.

PS Use paragraphs in your...
Hi Diggs,
Thought I'd watch your progress. Hey. on the bud rot...I recently harvested my 8 week strains. One single top cola was gutted like a little explosion occurred. Everything else was ok...at least to superficial inspection. So some serious cleaning and re-eval of my circulation. I'd...
It means to live life to the fullest...we must not live in fear of death.
A man's relationship with death has been written about throughout history. The Tibetan Book of the Dead is one example...and in the classic novel Steppenwolf...The character runs his life with death always being the...
You should have just used the coco from the bag. But re-doing the rinse and buffering is not a problem. But no...don't undo your work by rinsing again.

For reuse...I let them dry really good and then take them outside and shake and wack them around. Once dry all the roots become little whispy strings that just blow away...

Not an easy question since the chemistry can be complex. I would say one of the most important elements is the buffering sytems. Soil tends to be self-buffering while hydro systems rely on the chemical reactions with the nutrients.

When you said water...you meant fertigate? Pure RO water on coco will wash out the calmag buffer. Always use nutes or calmag in it.
I tried coco E&F about a decade ago. It worked but had to use a pump filter bag to keep coco fragments from the pump.
I now use top watering. Runoff is...
Hi Larry,
I use the Maxci series on coco. I suspect part of the problem is that they perhaps were a little light on N when you flipped it. You using Maxi-bloom in veg as well? I used to do the Lucas formula and found they were a bit light so now I go with Maxi-grow.
I would use the KoolBloom...
Hi Boone,
I'll make a few comments. It must be rough being a noob. I see you are being quite fastidious in your details...which some might even say is over-tending. Common among noobs.
Not sure why your germ rate is so poor. I usually do OK but recently had some old weak seeds that didn't...
Hi Booger Momma,
Some sites use Post Office regs for address configuration. Such things as the 4 digit addendum to zips that most people ignore...they'll get blocked.
I am growing a Sebring. One I harvested early due to space crunch. They are nice to grow. Got one more that's producing...
