Do fresh cut clones always wilt over to the side on you guys?

Jamie, If you trimmed a little leaf material, you would have less dropping. There's a Canadian study on cloning that's floating around. One hint is to remove leaves rather then cutting leaves in half. This is how I do it now...any fan leaf left on the cutting, I remove the center 3...

Do fresh cut clones always wilt over to the side on you guys?

The brief period of time after taking a cutting...before it goes into rockwool...is important. Immediately after taking the cutting, I place stem in water. Then remove once I'm ready to stick into rockwool. Never leave them laying around. Then into a dome only if wilting occurs. Where I...

sleeping in the same room as tent health question

Hey Deadhead, Just vent the exhaust into your bedroom. That room I assume has a door and windows. Plenty of air exchange options...at least for a small grow. Done that several times over the years. @hotrodharley and @NinjaMaster Hey guys...old rock and roller here too. Lead guitar...had a...

    Best inexpensive light setup

RMac, Growing indoors is way different then outdoors...so you'll have lots to learn. Basic kight intensity shorthand is the watts per square foot. For HIDs...the guidelines are something like 25-30 watts/sf for vegging and 40+watts/sf for flowering. A 400w light should be ok in a 3x3 area (or...

Watering after transplanting in big pots

Daska... Hard to have hard and fast rules for coco because it's different in different stages...and it seems that there are many approaches. I'm on your side...but your partners method will work...just wasteful. I veg starting in solo cup to 1 gal...then to 2 gal. Then only the few largest go...

    One more week enough?

I'm in a very humid cool coastal environment. Perfect for mold. I managed to get 2 runs here and am at midpoint of my third grow...using the fans only. I have a dehumidifier that I need for drying/curing...but so far haven't needed it in flowering yet. I'm not saying you won't need it. It...

    What size fan??

Dave...what Renfro stated here was fairly common practice. But also...you need to look at your room...esp. heat and humidity. Is your exhaust partially controlling those things...and size accordingly. From the plants perspective...the exhause fan blows out stale air and brings in fresh CO2...

    One more week enough?

My room is 7'x8' but I only have plants in a 3 1/2' swath along one 8' wall. On the opposite wall I have a high speed 20" fan attached fairly high on opposite wall. It's not oscillating so it really only covers half the garden. I have it on a dimmer and keep at just below half full on. At...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

Defenitely a worthy goal. I'm sure there are obscure landrace plants that haven't been discovered or revealed. Sounds fun. Travel with a goal. I have a couple things going...but no crosses at the moment. I have one unsexed regular Golden Tiger...but the clone of it under 12/12 is looking...

    Strains for CBD oil production?

Some people feel it's bst to have some thc which works alongside the CBD. Herlerquin BCX4 (think I got that right) is a BCBD mostly cbd sativa hybrid strain. I also am growing Sebring's Revenge (Sebring Seeds) in Washington. Haven't harvested yet but they grow nice. 20% cbd and 5% thc...

    Planted too many different strains!!

Ya...I think we got that. I am currently kicking myself...not too many strains, but too many plants. It's a f$%ing jungle in there. And stretch isn't half through. I did this last grow and the one before that. Ha...now I'm venting. That's just what we need...a venting thread! JD

I built one too...years ago. Don't remember whose, tut it was. But I was thinking AR...if you fail to find the info you need...just use your bucket and re-wire it using a tutorial. All the floats and holes should be the same. Not something you could do in a hurry though. JD
