Hi Unfiltered,
That's a V-8 manifold so I assume you follow Nebulas' thread. I believe he says to cut those branches off. How else are you going to concentrate buds on main colas?
JD
Hi supressed,
If you spend some time softening up the opposite branch...you should be able to tie it down enough for the broke side to catch up. What I mean is gently pinching and bending so it doesn't break. Now, though, won't the 2 branches at the other end of the manifold be too long?

Yes I reused the hydroton. If you let it dry good...all the attached roots will whither to nothing and are easy to remove. Then a little wash and you're ready to go.

Hi Jonny,
I was just growing for myself and a buddy. Never got real accurate with weighing. But I'd get at least 6 oz from a sativa leaning WW. Never did get the furry white buds like some widow growers do. It was also my first go at hydro.

PS I'd cut them at 9 weeks with cloudy and...
Good morning guys,
It was always suggested to do a single cola strain with SOG. But I did a sativa pheno of White Widow (branchy strain). I got by through rearranging pots to get a good fit between plants. I'd tuck a fan leaf and very rarely would clip a leaf. I had 23 plants on 3x3 tray...
Good point Apa,
With some nutes and spacific brands of coco...no calmag needed because it's already in nutes.
I just use Maxi.bloom and KoolBloom when I want a {K boost. I add in epsom salts toward the end. Sulfur helps with terps and the mg is always needed late flower.

Hi 710,
My water is close to that. I use about 100 ppm of calmag on top of what's already in my tapwater. Doesn't really matter if you're in veg or bloom...you'll want the calmag all the time.

I once set up a drip irrigation using two regular timers. One set to run 8 hours a day and the other one plugged into the first timer set at 15 minutes. Using those settings I would get one 15 minute watering every 3 days. Or vary settings to what you need...

Mcoo,
Double bucket idea was mentioned. Look at a Waterfarm...something like those buckets. I think American Plastic sells nesting buckets.
OK...now a tray idea. You can find trays about the right size at appliance store for under washing machine. Mine came with a drain fitting to attach...
I personally wouldn't bother with the GA3...I tried and tried last winter on old seeds. The dosage is supercritical. Yes...you can force a seed to pop using it...but the seedlings won't survive. My experience was that they expended all their energy growing wild curley Q roots till they died.

Hi Johnny,
Never done sog with rockwool...but have with clay pebbles. When you refill res...why don't you handwater the cubes and runoff will dribble down to res. Sorta like coco guys doing 20% runoff. Nutrient salts can accumulate in rockwool just like with anything else.

Hi Guys,
These two are femmed GT seeds. They look different...moreso in person. I'm hoping I have both a Thai and a Malawi pheno...
JD
PS Ooops...forgot to mention they were mainlined which explains their appearance. Took to the training well.
