Dr Who...reveal your secrets. Mag sulfate was easy to guess...but what's the second one?
@jonnynobody,
Sounds like it was a combination of things. I once ruined an outdoor plant by giving too much P. I'll bet shit tastes better that that weed I grew.
Now I just use a little bloom booster...
If it's improving with the ES but you want faster correction...you could bump it up to 1 teaspoon. Or also...once it's totally gone...you could probably drop dosage to 1/4 tsp/gal. See how your plants respond. The plants like the sulfur so it's pretty safe to use. I've seen guys going 2 tsp...
Needs to be in each feeding. I'd assume you are getting enough Ca so go with Epsom salts. Put it in with your nutrients from now till end of grow. And next time you grow a White strain...I'd use 1/4 tsp ES as maintenance from the beginning.

That's pretty wierd Chunky. I've been using the Maxi duo for a really long time and never saw anything like that. It gets a little bit clumpy from humidity but it breaks apart and disolves easily. Whatever it is...I wouldn't put it on a plant...some sort of contaminant...

You need to look carefully at your water and nutrients and decide if you need just Mg or Ca and Mg. If you go with Epsom salts...I'd add at least 1/2 tseaspoon per gal. You could foliar feed too but I personally reserve that for emergencies.

Hi 101,
I'm not interested in the latest greatest strains. One old standby for me is White Widow (or rather Black Widow...the original WW) Easy to grow if you give enough Mg. Smooth smoke, and a very nice potent high. Been growing it for over 10 years and never had it herm.

Fish...
Ya...getting the timing right is a pain in the ass...at least for me being new to such training. I've used this with multiple hybrids. Matanuska TF and Black Widow both took to it well. But I have a G13Widow (MrNice) that is a single cola plant and doesn't like training.
I also have...
Fish,
Give it time...they'll get growing again. The training can slow things down. Nebula says if you wait till you get to 5 or 6 nodes before first topping...it won't slow growth asmuchl. I finished watering and found a plant with better visualization of stem structure. This one is about a...
Well Dude...you're talking to another beginner. I had only read NugBuckets tut when I started. Gonna do the Nebula approach next time. Some I removed more leaves...some hardly any at all. I'll post a few pix to show you where I'm at. I am going to follow what Nebula said about flipping them...
Hi F4l,
Nebula suggests that it's ok to leave some fan leaves during the early period of training...like where you're at. That is clearly Nebula's method which is supposed to be at least a week faster. So now you just need to veg them. How tall are you going to go?

1212...with second use of coco, you'll probably be OK. I would at least use calmag. This is as much mythology as it is science! lol
The rinsing also washes out the fine coco that's left after cellular degradation of the coco. If you don't wash it out...you end up with K+ excess which can...
Me too...would be hard to recreate a grow like that. He's really dialed in and knows his plants well. But the thread is full of interesting ideas that can be borrowd.

Here's a thread to read. He feeds 6 times daily. One thing to keep in mind...it's easy to overfeed. You won't be giving 6 full feeds daily...just 6 smaller feedings. Might be too much to tackle for your first coco grow...

Hi 1212,
People do it all the time. Gently wash off the dirt in a bucket of warm water...get as clean as you can. There will be an adjustment period...hydro plants need water roots, but they'll grow them...
