D,
I'd say damp rather then wet. Not hard to extract moisture. You can take a pile of the wet stuff and simply squeeze it...handful by handful. Or rig up some sort of centrifuge with a peace of rope attached to a small pot or something with holes on the bottom.

Hi Diggs,
I wouldn't worry. I don't even check ph when buffering. Just tap water and calmag at whatever ph it happens to be at. Close to 7 whould be my guess...

I read that the initial rinse to leach out leftover nutrients is very important... also washes out the powdery stuff that's left behind after cellular degradion. Wash that old stuff out and you eliminate excess K+ that can be an issue reusing coco. Then of course do the usual calmag soak...
Ya know Diggs...I totally lost track of what's happening. Maybe if I smoke another joint...it will become clear.
Seriously though...are your questions answered? H&G sounds like excellent coco that can be used right out of the bag. Any questions yet or did it all get covered?
Cheers,
JD
Mornin' Diggs,
Chlorine isn't as much of an issue as chloramine...a more complex molecule that won't evaporate out. I use tap water (86 ppm)...but run it through an activated charcoal filter to remove chlorine and chloramine. Many guys just ignore it. It won't kill your plants or anything.
JD...
Hi Monk...I agree. Overwatering can cause a sad drooping plant. I was mostly considering the comment OP made about this happening after it's most recent feeding. So you think it may be chronic overwatering? Better picture would sure help...

Gary,
I've read that statistically there are more males. But my personal experience is different. A few months ago I planted 11 seeds and got 4 males. There are techniques...some as simple as stress avoidance...to encourage female plants. A seed isn't locked in to a gender untill it...
Hi Al,
I actually did try a guerilla grow...a bowhunter friend had access to some hunting land...we planted but when we returned for harvest, we didn't find a single plant. I suspected deer. But now I'm too old to be messing with that...young guys game.
I haven't started a thread and right...
AZ,
Phosphorus absorbs at a fairly high PH...so a little soil acidification from salt build-up would/could cause that P malabsorption. Just adding more P might not do it if it's being locked out.
One reason guys ad mycophizzal bacteria and fungus (bennies) is that it promotes better P...
How is you're tap water? Super hard? Do you measure ph and EC of feedings or are you using the shotgun approach (not judging here) Oh and a little about the soil too.
JD
Not likely Az. The discoloration on your leaves follow a specific pattern. Leaf tips and margins. Heat burn wouldn't do that I don't believe.
Most nutes have plenty of everything needed to grow marijuana. So deficiencies are quite often from lockout or more specific chemical interactions...
Thanks for the info...I have three GT seedlings just at the beginning of their life. So I guess I have 3 or 4 months to go! I really wanted to try the Malawi COB curing method Tangwena wrote about. But I have plenty of time to get that organized.

From an academic perspective...safety and security are a critical element of human needs. Having unsecured intoxicants available to children violates this. I don't disagree with the charges.

RUI has 12/12 from seed contests occasionally...wonder how early they show pistils?
And you mentioned an advantage to this. What would that be? When you want a plant to flower...you just change lights to 12/12...not so hard to do.
If you truly have a new brakthrough about growing...
