Shit that's what I'm worried about :/ In veg they'll be more forgiving but I'm not doing all this work for moldy buds. While I'm sure the rain is the main cause & once it stops it'll go back down to around 70% that's still high for veg & even if a little dehumidifier could get it to 60% now my...
Oh I got ya! I stopped the wet rag thing 1st thing last week & definitely need to drop the humidity asap. Normally after feeding them I see a huge increase in growth the next few days but not this last time & I'm assuming it's due to tge humidity & my plants taking up far less water from their...
Raise the temperature to help what? That would make it more humid right? I need a small one that's not going to take up too much space in my tent unless there's something that can pull through a 4 inch hose ported out the tent?
What's smoke mold?
Really? Ugh it doesn't wipe off. There's 20$ waisted, well not if I get powdery mildew in the future & need this stuff but still.. 2nd time my loval shop has sent me home with the wrong thing :( yet they say they're more expensive because I get their knowledge while I'm there lol
Humidity has been insane here in nor cal the last week. Went to the local grow shop, they said this was powdery mildew & gave me something to mix/spray on them so we'll see :P
As of typing this message my humidity is at 82% sadly it's been as high as 87% this weekend :/ need a dehumidifier asap...
Thus is my 1st grow. I've been slowly purchasing equipment & nutrients as I needed/could afford them. I'm about 4 weeks into veg in a 2x4x5 tent & my plants are looking great!
While I've been controlling the temperature with a greenhouse thermostat outlet & a small heater I just got a digital...
I seriously doubt it's overwatering. I left for 2 weeks, had a buddy water a couple times for me & they were wilting/super thirsty when I got back.
After I transplanted them I only gave them a little caliMagic & great white mycorrhizal with water PH'd to 6.5. Knowing FFOF is a little hot I've...
The humidity has been a bit higher than usual lately, like 70%.. Otherwise I've been feeding only with 4-5ml/gallon caliMagic since I transplanted them to FFOF a few weeks ago. The ppm is really low, like below 200 since I use RO water.
Otherwise the plant looks great. Wondering if I need to be worried or could this be something else?
If so what should I do? Cut off the effected leaves? Make sure they're not touching others? Keep them dry? (I usually like to mist my plants here & there)
My thought was to wait at least a few weeks after transplanting them to FFOF before giving them any other nutrients(npk) even though some of my bigger plants I just topped for tge 2nd time have been on nutrients for a while now.
How long you think before they'd suck up the nutrients in the FFOF?
The bottle says 5ml per gallon but I've been doing 3-4 since for the smaller ones. Too many nutrients could make sense though since I just transplanted them from a soil with very little npk to FFOF. If that's the case I'm betting it'll just start getting better soon on it's own?
The top leafs...
I transplanted them into FFOF a week ago. No nutrients other than caliMagic & added some great white mycorrhizal. It's a soil grow with a top layer of hydroton to help evaporation etc. I PH RO water to 6.5
I'm having a buddy water my plants while I'm on vacation. He sent me some pics of 1 of my plants I just started a few weeks ago. Everything was looking ok before I left but I don't know what this could be.. It has been a day or 2 longer than I usually wait to water, could they just be dried out...
I knew FFOF was hotter & as soon as I transplanted to it I switched to only using caliMagic & great white mycorrhizal for now, probably till flower, we'll see.
