Hey Amber - yeah, I like the screen holes to be in the range of 3 to 3.5 inches. Any smaller and it's a bit tough to pull through some tops once they get the large fans on them up high. I think if you're using smaller holes like with chicken wire for example, you'd need to position the screen...

Okay, I was able to get my screen built today - it was quite the task, and after it was all done I discovered that I measured it 2-3 inches too big!...lol..so I had to disassemble it again and saw off some piping to shrink it down...now it fits pretty good. Here's the screen before I shrunk it...

Word of warning - I tried my Rocklock seed (reg) from DNA a few grows ago and it was a male - found out afterwards that a lot of peeps had issues with a low fem percentage from that strain.. If you got the seed from Attitude about a year ago or less, there's a good chance it's from the same batch.

Yeah, fresh hydroton gave me issues in both first grows with the waterfarms. No worries though, it will bounce back! I don't know yet when I'm switching to 12/12. I'm in no hurry, so it will happen when it's 'time'...lol. My screen will go in this weekend hopefully, then I can start really...

Hey coca - by the looks of these, I'd say give them at least 2-3 more weeks before you flower them considering the size of tent you have. If you're going to scrog, you'll want to cover a screen about 2/3 before flipping your lights, IMHO.... Just take a good guess - remember that they will...

I'm still on the FNB only diet - the VK is sitting at about 320 ppms right now and Ace is at around 250.. The VK is starting to show bit of nitrogen def, so I'm going to bump her up to about 450-500 next change out and add some micro to the mix to give her some more N. AoS is looking a tad...

I put more holes in it than that - you can put a few more in the corners close to the edges and a few right in the very center there yet... basically I had the holes in my last one about a half inch apart. The more, the better, as long as the bottom is still able to hold up the hydroton and roots!
