Hi SC...well lots of plants either get branchy or form all that cabbage stuff that grows right next to the stem. Just remove it. That's what fingernails are for! lol
Regarding training...I had an idea the other day. Looking at a plant I'd done some supercropping on. I love the way the...
Hey Logan, curious about this. All RO units have activated charcoal filters because chlorine and chloramines will damage the ro membrane. So they have to filter that out.
And activated charcoal is actually a desirable additive to soil. Perhaps stray charcoal messes with hydro ph or...
Yup...be a shame to have your fully flowered GT die from frostbite. I have 8' of headroom but still plan on training. I read that Golden Tiger takes to lst and manifold training well. So I'm going to try and control it's growth...

Hey OMU...hope you are well. My water here has ppm of 80. Not really bad enough to warrant an RO unit. But I had my old RO unit from my last location and took the RO filter off. So now I just run my water through the sediment and activated charcoal filters which removes all chloramines and...
Ace has a varity of sats. I just thought the Golden Tiger sounded nice. Looking for a psychedelic or spiritual type sativa high.
I don't know about outdoors...I'm growing it indoors. I'm actually looking forward to the long flower time. With quick turnaround plants...I find myself getting...
Thanks Bob...yes I'm careful and not a newbie. I did all the wiring in my room and everything works perfectly...except that 315. The fact that my bumping the reflector causing bulb shutoff makes me wonder if there's anything amiss with the socket wiring. I'll double check that and swap the...
TF,
I am of the school that hydro plants don't need huge roots because the nutrition is brought to them.
My E&F set up used square plastic pots 5x5 filled with hydroton. Including the pot height I doubt it was 2" max. Mind you that grow was a while ago. My res pumped up a couple feet to the...
Hi Guys,
For what it's worth...I use barbless fishing hooks through the fabric attached to bonsai wire. Learning manifold training. Haven't tried it with big branches yet.
JD
The way he had it set up with harvest every three weeks...quite impressive. I tried perpetual and it really takes an organized mind. Mostly I was stoned which is why I failed. lol

Thanks Rob...Ya I've been telling myself to redo the wiring. When the bulb is on...it's bright as hell.
I also had to change out the sockets...better check that wiring too.
Thanks,
JD
Hi Guys,
Quick question. I have two 315s. Philips bulbs with philips ballasts. They only have one run on them. Oh...mounted horizontal.
OK...one light had several failed starts. I suspected my wiring in a diy switchbox. But later...just today...I bumped the light with my shoulder and it...
Too bad. I won't refer anyone there anymore. Google him and maybe you can find a thread with pictures. I know he was a member at Ozzie Stoners before he came here. He got a job requiring travel and stopped growing. But by reading the text alone you can get some info. He did things his own...
Snuf,
Lovely plant. Remember that the leaves are the energy factories where all the photosynthesis occurs. So don't cut too many. I've noticed guys lollypopping and while I think it's extreme (unless under scrog net)...some prudent trimming down below won't hurt anything.

Having trouble with the quotes so I'll just omit them. Omit...how many scrabble points is that? I guess you win with quadrant. lol
TreeFiddy...track down the stickied threads by Al B. Fuct. He was an Aussie grower that pulled a pound every three weeks using sog trays. Think they're in...
Sorry SC...missed your post. Ya...clone mommas. I had two small ones and cut about 15 off each. Rooted cuttings and stuck the strongest 24 on the tray.
Quality was there. When I was doing that, I had a musician buddy (grower) who would sell my stuff to his friends. They all loved my WW.

I think it's cool that we're discussing a magazine article from decades ago...and still remember the details. They were doing it all with 400 MH lights as I recall. The 600 hps that people use now weren't invented yet.
