I a=disagree with this. Topping so close to flip will set them back. Also I can't imagine a second scrog screen. I have seen guys use a double screen setup as trellis but not for scrog.
You can get into a troublesome situation if the plant stretches too much. I'd try and avoid that...
JD
I'm sure you, along with the rest of us, would really like to know what happened. So it can be avoided in the future.
Sorry man...be sure to let us know if you get it figured out.

Danjac82,
I don't really have that much to add but that's never stopped me before.
I am in a new location with my first grow here. Decided to do a seed crop so all got pollenated fairly heavily.
My genetics was from MrNice Dreamtime mix. Two plants (sativa leaning) got burnt a bit early on...
Hi Buzz,
You asked about lighting. Like you, I formerly used T5-HO but am now using a 250w MH at 24". Works good except if I have a seedling that's struggling...then I move that one to the periphery.
I've been doing various experiments using different media and occasionally get one n a little...
Hi Randy,
I remember a creative guy did a grow and a thread about this. How he did it was to grow the plant with the roots directly on top of a vertical divider. Half the roots went down one side into a hydro system while the other side of the roots went into soil.
His idea was to get fast...
Hi Mobone,
Ya, practice makes perfect. Plus you want to trim the Mommas to keep them branchy.
Hey I read the results of a Canadian cloning study. Of note is that it's better to reduce the leaf number...rather then cutting leaves in half. I'll see if I can find a link...
JD
I actually don't think the cloning product makes much difference. I like the powder because it lasts longer.
Just be super careful to not let clone stem to be exposed to air for too long. Transpiration can cause an air bubble to be sucked into stem. Causes vapor lock like with a gas line.

Hi Mobone,
I've been using a method called the two cut method for several decades now. Initially, make the cutting and stick it in a container of water.
Prevention of wilting depends on steps done at this time.
Once you have your rockwool or jiffy cube ready...pull a cutting, cut off the bottom...
Not sure on those details...but it's a small manageable amount and cheap. Like $10. Probably enough for 1 car battery.
I mixed about 1/3 of the acid into 1 gal distilled water...then used that as my ph down. But you're a math sort of guy...so you'll figure it out.
JD
Hi Chief,
Guys tht choose to use H2SO4 will just go to the auto store and buy a container of battery acid. It's for batteries so is very pure...has to be. I have done this and it works great. Need to be careful during initial dilution.

Chris,
I was perusing the Ace seed catalog and spotted this unusual strain...thought of you.

They call it hemp but that's a generic phrase really. Doesn't exactly look like a ruderalis either...

...or chewed. That's bad for ya too.
What blows me away is seeing some old farmer...80 years old smoked since age 12 and no health issues. I've seen them...

Been doing a...back to growing "Test" run with some freebies plus some from the MrNice freamtime mix. I had a real strong Black Pearl male so I pollemated all of females. Two were a high THC alaskan kush, one black widow, two are pretty skunky looking and one I just don't know.. One stands...
I was very pleased with it. Interestingly it was because of growth patterns. Strong stem, good vigor. A strong high but not very interesting taste. Seems more like a 60% indica to me. I've made quite a few crosses with it.

"Where particular people congregate"
While I grew up...my Mom was an advertising professional. We heard her evaluation of every ad. I could even sing the jingles. lol

Can't forget Chesterfield 101s. A silly millimeter longer...

PS @Laughing Grass ...seriously? Pictures of blackened lungs on smoke packs? Not quite sure how I feel about that...
Good for you man! I hear it can be rough.
About taxes...the typical maneuver here in southern Washington is to buy high tax items in Oregon. Worth the drive...
