Rob,
I'm not familiar with the parent strains...but most of what's out there are poly-hybrids. There still are some solid IBLs but even those can display pheno variation. As your f-1 experience showed.
Only way to keep them all genetically the same is clones...

With the small pot E&F the roots are contained in each individual pot. As roots grow outside the pot from holes in bottom... are automatically air pruned by the plant. Renfro...sounds like I had a 3' version of what you are doing.
Set it up with res underneath and pump on timer to flood tray...
Myke,
First Ebb&Flow (or flood and drain) is a recirculating system. I did E&F for years using 400w HID on 3x3 tray ising 23 small pots filled with hydroton. It's a sweet system but you end up with a high plant count.
You're going to need more then a week of veg unless going with small pots...
I have to admit that back then I kinda liked it too. It had that early 60s sensibility about a sexy girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Hell, without girls like Sloopy...none of us horndogs would ever have gotten laid. So hats off to Sloopy oh and to xylophone instrumentals too...
I...
Greetings guitar fans...
Not sure if Rick Derringer qualifies. I saw him with the McCoys in Fargo, ND 1966 after their lame hit song "Hang on Sloopy" His guitar playing blew everyone away...
I'm not the one posting incorrect info. On this plant that you killed by flushing...why did it need the flush?
All I suggested is that the reason for the flush was probably the reason your plant died...not the flush which was apparently an unsuccessful rescue attempt.
JD
Because you fucked up...and then drew the wrong conclusions does not male your conclusions correct.
Watering a plant...especially in coco, draws O2 into rootzone...you aren't going to drowned a plant flushing.
JD
I felt compelled to respond. First...you will not drowned roots via flushing. But if you flush with straight RO water...you'll mess up the CEC and all the coco buffering will be gone.
You can't change the basic ph of a medium though watering ph manipulation.
Flush with low dose nutes or some...
OK I see your issue. Color temp isn't much of an issue for most casual light bulb users. Find some as red is possible...often labeled warm white. Or maybe a local vendor can special order some that are even more red.
Far as calculating how many you need. Unless you can do the...
Hi Shpongles,
First you need to determine if your diagnosis is correct. Why do you feel it's weak on red end of spectrum?
And once that's determined...buy a light that specifically fills that need.
I have a 650w LED that's way heavy on reds but weak on white/blue. So I added a nice white CMH...
Hi Burnzy,
I currently have a stunted G13 Widow. Only seed that cracked in an old seed pack. I'd love to have the genetics so I'm going to give it whatever time and care it needs. Hope she makes it...and your's too.
JD
It's not uncommon to do a multi-stage harvest. Usually the top finishes first. Harvest that and allow the lower branches extra time. Something like that. Plus then you get your preview! lol
JD
Well JS I'm pulling for ya. Your water, at just under 200 is usable. I've seen people grow using 250ppm and even 300ppm. Be sure you add nutrients...then wait a bit before correcting the ph. The nutrients will drop your ph and allow you to use minimal ph down.
Improvement may take a few...
SirDirk,
Sometimes shit happens and we're never able to track it down. I lost some leaves from a plant I had fed...and realized that I forgot to stir it up after adding ph down.
JD
Why so many? By the time you get around to growing the last ones...they will probably fall into the old seed category. Be sure to store them carefully.
I just did a group pollenation and expect 7 different F1 crosses. Did the Mr Nice Dreamtime mix. So I have seeds now for the next...
JSheeve,
It's generally frowned upon to start multiple threads about the same problem. If you provide more info...you may get better responses. Whole plant pictures, strain, type of grow and all that...

I copied this link for the Texas thread but I'm too lazy to go over there...
