70w maybe ??? I don't think they make a 75w HPS.
I think you'd need to add at least a few CFL's or add 1 more 70w HPS bulb, but if money is tight, do what you've gotta do bro.

^^^best cheap way I've read to do it on a micro grow. I was going to do a micro, but just cleaned out a closet instead.
Thanks for stopping by man! Typically this is what my closet looks like when the lights are on...
Between the 150w HPS and the 2 x 32w CFLs I've got 20,200 Lumens @ 214w. It's enough light for me, but to each his own man bongsmilie
It's not actually a "salt". I guess it was originally called Epsom Salt because the grains look like salt. Epsom salt is Magnesium Sulfate, which when broken down in water is an excellent source of Mag for the plant.
If your nutes don't have any Mag in them or if your doing soil and it doesn't...
Do you have enough PC fans to do like 1 intake towards the bottom and 2 exhaust at the top ? One of the number 1 issues I've read about with micro grows is heat. Also, what sort of pots do you plan on using ? Make sure not to use anything clear or white b/c it is bad for you roots
I did a lot...
Oh, and like the guy above said, you need some pots that will block out light. Go for the ones with drainage holes in the bottom and get a runoff try to go underneath.
I'd invest in a bag of Perlite to mix with your new soil. Perlite will retain some water, but will mostly help with drainage and getting O2 to your roots.
Also, I'd make sure to add either Cal-Mag or 1/4 tsp of Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate) per gallon of water. I nearly drove myself mad trying...
Thanks man ! The new growth at the top has stems that are staying green and all the leaves are starting to look miles better. I'm just glad that the main solution to my problem only cost $3 for 2 lbs ! At 1/4 tsp per gallon, that Epsom Salt should last me a long while.
Day 50 (Day 19 of 12/12) Pics:
The clone:
he's really starting to drink some water now that she's got some nice, healthy roots. Id say she drank about 750 mL since yesterday. Topped the res off with PH'd filtered water. Pistols are beginning to shoot out right below the top of the new...
Day 49 Pics:
Starting to look a lot healthier and the roots exploded with growth once they were in the water. Tips of the leaves are curled up, but the leaves as a whole have livened up a good bit. I've plucked the dead leaves from the plant and left the unhealthy looking ones that still had a...
Day 47 Pics:
Leaves are getting worse. PH issue is totally solved and after doing a good bit of research and going over the whole cal-mag thing I'm going to say it is a Mag deficiency. If it were Cal then my roots wouldn't be growing hella strong and fast back like they are. Plus, the signs of...
I thought the Shultz I'm using had it, but when I just read the contents I found out otherwise. Looks like I'll be stopping by Home Chepo after work today...
