Out of my 12 jillybeans I've noticed 2 very different types of leaves, some wide , some narrow etc. I dont think you have anything to worry about.

And one more of my last 12/12 from seed, the strain is "Snowcap" started under T8 flouros and @ day 30 under 1000 watt hps a few of the leaves got hella curly but no burned tips or blemishes .... as far as I can tell the plant is still in good health. all of my plants have been in my own mix...

You can get 6" back-draft preventers(like a one way valve for duct) from home depot for about $5, in order to keep the air going out of the single outlet you could cap off two ends of the Y and this should stop any sort of vortex from forming in the fitting and control positive air movement.

I use the 1000watt hortilux Eye lamps and have had no complications with them. I'd recommend the 2 600's; I may actually do that for my next grow simply to distribute the light better.
