From what i'm reading they can be used vertically. Its just the horizontal market they are catering to.

    "Fogponics" Aeromist pumps

Where are you getting 50 microns from? My nozzles atomize at 8 microns. 8 nozzles evenly covering each layer of the octagon should be plenty of coverage. No doubt they will coat the walls of left on to long but by no means will they flood the tubes and not make it to each plant as you are...

My goal is 5lbs and I haven't seen a vertical LED grow. I'd be interested to see if it could be incorporated into my design. Also is the reason DE can't be run vertical becuase of the reflector design or is becuase the bulb can't actually be ran vertically?

8' octagon 75-80 plants looking for an oz a piece. So hoping to knock on 5lbs with 3 600's stacked or a few 1000's Old setup was around 35 plants stack between two rows and I pulled down a little over 3lbs. Grow was sloppy and I was just learning vertical. HPS lights for flower and a garbage...

    Gavita lights

I'm not set on them it's just that I keep hearing people talking about them so I figure I'd see what it was all about. Honestly yield is more of a concern than efficiencies. That's one of the reasons I'm staying away from LED's. Also it would be very difficult to include them into a vertical...

Curious how you read that as I won't buy it if it's expensive. I'm not complaining about the price of anything. I said where I am it is expensive to get equipment so my selection needs to be cognesent of that. Also what is DE? And I won't run LED becuase I've never seen a grow I was impressed...

I don't see how it would be considered NFT. I'm not flooding the roots. Each plant will recieve a fine mist and draining will be done by tilting the closiuem. I would prefer to grow in horizontal tubes as there is plenty of volume left in the tubes when he roots grow downward but the cieling...

So I've been out of the loop for the last 6 years and these Gavita lights keep coming up in conversation between some experienced growers I know. Anyone care to shed some light on them? I am setting up a bare bulb vertical grow and I was considering 3 (600)'s or two (1000) HPS in my coliseum. I...

Cloning with nothing but an airstone and a bucket of water

I've always used the little red ones screwed into PVC in a DYI system. Roots popped in less Than a week every time.. I like the 5 gallon single pump idea though. Looks way easier.

    "Fogponics" Aeromist pumps

Sorry just seeing this. Im not fixated on the pressure. We just had good luck with the higher PSI systems in the past so it's what I know. The new system is a new design. I'm going to run horizontal tubes insieated of vertical so I'm nervous that I won't get adequate coverage of the fog with the...
