Guys I'm think of going with a de ionisation vessel. My thinking is it might cost a bit to replace the resin but taking into consideration the wasted water of RO, plumbing it in, and the speed in which it filters, I think a DI vessel is the way to go. What do you reckon?

is there anything wrong with using air conditioners in rooms that are vented or does the room have to be sealed for the air con to be effected. I mean sealed other than the exhuast from the air con.

OK thanks everyone. Lots to think about! I assume if you are perpetually topping up a reservoir you use some sort of ball float to ensure you don't over fill? Also, is there anyway of reducing wastage? Do you plumb wastage into the waste pipe or washing machine or something?
