Thanks everyone, when you germed in the peat pod did you place to peat pod in the soil as soon as the seed cracked? I'm trying to avoid buying any more items if i can, already purchased ffof, 4" inline fan with carbon filter, 150watt hps, and fox farm nutes. Lol i went from 3 cfls to all that...

Could I use peat pods to germ them, leave them in the peat pod for a week, while watering, then put peat pod in the ffof?

Is it fine to start seedlings off in fox farm O.F. soil?

I'm going to go HPS for my 1st grow, then based off the yield i'll make a decision on the conversion bulb. Thanks Spoc. It looks like I'm going to be using the LSD method on my plants, can't wait to get started. Edit: How close should the light be kept away from the plant?
