the ph level should be around 5.8 if its higher then that you could run some wather through it when you have to water it and have the PH level down a bit lower then what youd water your plants with

if you can buy a ph level tester kit there's a couple kind 1 - paper strip tester kit (never used this so I can't help you much on this one) 2 - Drop tester kit (comes with a small vile, drops and a colour chart to tell you what the ph rang is)

no it sounds like its getting hot in the grow room , I would get a few fans, 1 or 2 (depending on the size of your grow) for blowing on the plants and 1 or 2 slaming fresh air in if you want you could have a fan at the top above your light to draw the hot air out. Also if you dont have one...

when your useing CFLs or T5 bulbs for veg there's no such thing as giving them to much light

get a cool tube for your light its gonna keep temps down and if your woried about the hot air from the light getting tracked you could always run the line through the tent and have a fan taking some of the a/c air and putting it in with the hot air from the light
