Ok I'm growing OG.. And my second grow. This grow looks way better than my last grow. But I veg my plant for about 3/4 weeks and I threw her in 12/12‍♂ I also started my flower count when my plant showed sex.. I've did 2 wk flush and all. But my plant looks good but I really don't think she is ready.. Today when the lights supposed to come on I was just going to throw them in 48hrs of darkness.

But I'm wondering if I should go another week or so? So that's what I'm asking do you think I should go longer? I'm sure the undergrowth will connect (I feel like they will) lol . My problem maybe not enough light . And I'm Growing in a closet. I'll drop pic or video if I can.. hope I explained this well. Lol last picture is from my second plant it looks ahead a little bit.

It defniitely has 2+ more weeks. All those fresh white hairs(stigma) are telling you that the plant is still growing fresh new buds for you :). It hasn't even started the swelling and ripening stage which happens AFTER 90% of the hairs have turned red and shrunk towards the buds. The last 2-3 weeks the plant puts on weight and density as the buds swell internally while it ripens.

There is much misinformation about yellow leaves. A plant can finish fully and still have green leaves. I harvest with green leaves most of the time because I don't starve my plants at the end with excessive flushing and complete removal of nitrogen from their feed. That whole fade stuff is mostly myth. Why do you want to starve your plant at the end when the buds are swelling? Yellow leaves just means your plant is running out of gas when it's still driving down the highway. Green leaves till the end.

Thank you ThunderCat!

GGG,
For a plant to be that green after a two week flush...you must really have had it loaded up with Nitrogen. Too much N does discourage bloom and perhaps that's why it's taking so long to finish.

Thanks JD for the response.. Actually I only use nutes 3x each dose was only half of the recommended dosage. And I didn't use co2 or nothing.. Maybe I should of used bloom maybe they would of gotten fatter sooner I don't have a good light set up. But will say the lower leaves aren't that dark. Thanks for the response bro

GGG,
So you fed with grow nutes all the way? Not a good idea. For a long time I did Lucas Formula using Maxi-bloom for everything. Plenty of N.

You will learn to ignore manufacturer's dose advice. What's important is how your plants respond. You would have been better off with lower nute levels (or proper bloom nutes) Might want to do a slow dry and good cure.

Hey...each grow is a learning experience.
Cheers,
JD

Solid advice!

I just completed my first grow and over-loved my ladies by giving them a Dr. Earth fert 3 weeks prior to harvest and noticed that most of my leaves were green and my buds never swelled up/gained as much mass as I'd hoped for (rookie mistake). A rough estimation was that my pistils were about 25% amber up and down the stalk but it seemed like they stalled out and stayed that way for weeks 8-9 (I harvested on day 63 because I couldn't wait any longer haha).

Would an oversupply of N in late bloom delay the harvest? I.E. pistils and trichomes change color just delayed by a couple weeks? Or does the extra N prevent the plant from fattening up its flowers?
