Hey guys,
first grow.

400w
'bubble bucket' DWC setup

These are bagseeds from some pretty poor quality bud, but I just wanted to do this as a tester since its my first grow. I have some nice critical mass seeds for my next one :]. I might flower these kind of fast to see how they turn out.

The one on the right was planted yesterday, the one on the left was planted a few hours ago.

Any tips or tricks would be awesome, I'll be updating here.

Thanks guys! Well I'm just over a week in, and it's going great so far. Plant on the left has 3 roots down into the bubble bucket now, and is growing like crazy. The one on the right is doing okay as well but doesn't have any roots that far down yet. He's still being hand-watered for now. The two plants are in reverse from how they were originally planted, with the original right being on the left and vice versa.

I modified my setup to light-seal the closet as well as hanging the light vertically off a chain, which gives me options for raising / lowering it as well. I also added a small fan to add some airflow which will apparently help to strengthen the branches and fight mold. No heat issues so far, its a pleasant temperature in there. I wish it was that warm in my whole apartment! haha.

My setup is still kind of ghetto-tastic, but I think this will turn out okay. :joint:

It's lookin good man, just make sure to baby the one you are hand watering, don't want its roots to go dry and cause to much stress. But I believe you know what your doing haha
Can't wait to see how much they will grow once they get plenty of roots in the water bongsmilie

Yeah man, I'm pumped. I'll be adding a scrog grid in the next week or two as well.

This one is growing great, still waiting for the other's roots to hit the water. I'm considering taking the other one out and planting one of my Critical Mass seeds.

I've had enough of plant #2's shit, I'm going to germinate one of my feminized critical mass seeds tonight.

You should have raised the water level into the middle of the net pot for the slower plant.

I had it raised for both of them to encourage root growth. I checked today and slow plant has his roots coming out, looks like he won't be getting killed after all. :peace:

Quick update - The slow growing plant's roots reached the water but he's failing to thrive as much as the other. I've replaced him with a feminised Critical Mass seed.
