400w HPS vs 3000w bestva LED

Hi everyone,

This will be my second grow. Last grow I used a 400w HPS cooltube, and received a free 3000w bestva LED. I'm wondering if the led would be worth using over the HPS? I know that it's not 3000 actual watts, but it's pretty close to the same actual wattage of the HPS. I'm in a 2x4x5 tent if it matters.

I'm leaning towards HPS because I liked the results of last run, and I know practically nothing about LED. Hoping some more knowledgeable folks out there can help me out.

375 watts at the wall, and it's an old school blurple with what looks like lenses over the LED.

Not much of a light but you could put it on one end of your 4" tent so your 400 w hps will cover the rest.

At best, the led is equal to the hps in output.

I saw on Amazon it shows the led at 375w from the wall but their website has it at 465w plus or minus 5%. I'll go with the tried and true hps though. Too much heat will both

Appreciate the input but I'm not going to get another light. HPS definitely works really well and I had great results (over 1g/watt). I am only wondering if it'd be worth swapping with the mentioned LED.

Maybe in summer

400w HPS can work really well with the right reflector (medium adjust-a-wing fully open)
this will work really well in the 4ft x 2ft

Which orientation would you hang the lamp - lengthwise or side to side in the tent?

Since the tent is a rectangle, surely it only makes sense to hang it parallel (long ways).
