420 Friendly Landlords in Michigan

From a legal state - good luck for a variety of reasons. If there's a mortgage it can be called for any illegal activity including growing cannabis. Until it's off the federal schedule. There might be some willing to risk it but they're not about to advertise that.

Hi! Are there any 420 friendly landlords in Michigan?
Depends what your plans are. For a home grow Rec (under 12 plants) I would just set up a tent and mums the word.
That’s your right as Michigan citizen to grow your own 12. Now if your trying for something bigger that has more risk then maybe talking to your landlord would be a good idea.

Thank you so much for your response!

Yeah, that's my plan, to grow 12 plants in a tent in one of the bedrooms. That's until I get my grow license, then I know I will need a commercial place. Thank you for your response!

It's not allowed in the lease where I am and someone called the cops. They came three times and knocked forever and then gave up. Landlords that don't live in the state are nice
Oh wow! yeah I don't want that shit to happen. Did they call because of the smell?

Yeah I was slacking though and let my filters get too old and was stinking up the block
How far away are weed grow smells smellable? Do you have neighbors that live really close, or is the odor typically so strong that people some distance away could smell it?

Depends on strains, amount and how drafty your house is. My house leaks like a sieve and you can smell it out in my yard (without filters) and the neighbors are close. A small breeze and you can smell it across the street. Big breeze and cold out it can go down the road. I drive by grow houses a lot for work and can smell them in my car lol

But those with strong odors you describe noticing while driving past probably have a lot of plants to grow for the black market I'm guessing... what if it was a small personal use grow, like I'm assuming you have? (A few plants...)

I'm kinda surprised it would be such a strong smell. I mean it's unusual you come across a plant so fragrant that a small number of plants of that type can be smelled from a great distance outdoors.. unless they are large plants like a tree or shrub (Lilac bushes come to mind, but I suppose they are probably quite a big larger than the typical weed plant). The only time I ever experienced something like that was when I smelled a handful of oriental lillies (probably the notorious "Stargazer" lillies variety) outdoors at a garden center once from like... idk, 50-100 feet away. And that was amazing to me I could smell them from so far away.

But... with cannabis, I'm under the impression it smells like a skunk. So if you live in a slightly rural environment, perhaps someone who smelled it might assume it was caused by an actual skunk?

Shit just do your own maintenance and don’t worry about it. I rent, non legal state. Literally never met the landlord a very hands off property management firm handles everything, and from what the neighbors say don’t often check on maintenance requests. Fuck a landlord, useless leach motherfuckers.
