$900 Electric Bill

Yeah i wouldnt listen to anyone who says noone will notice a 820 dollar increase in power usage in one month, you know that old saying "Better to be safe than sorry" i think that applies here. I don't believe thats probable cause to have your house raided, but then again, its not like cops do everything by the book either. Id atleast be on my toes if it was me.

You seriously don't need that much pot.
It's just a plant, grow enough to smoke yourself, and maybe bit to sell if that's your game.
But you dont need $820 worth of electricity to grow enough plants for that purpose.
California is going to think your a west coast kingpin.

bottom line is, there is something you can do to minimize YOUR risk in this endevour, GET LEGAL, PRONTO! like yesterday!!! then if popped, they might just take the plants that exceed the county guidelines for quanitty. btw, i live in nor cal and run 1 1ooowt lite and all the associated fans, pumps, AC and my bill went from $175 p/mo to $350 p/mo and thats just one lite with a not very efficient ballast. You are running 4X as much as i am, that would put you at @ $700+ depending on the weather and the need for much more ac, dehue/hue and so on. Contrary to popular opinion, the power company does not have a hot line to the narco-cops and they wouldn't call if they did on someone whose bill was current anyways. Besides, they don't know if the place has been vacant and now there are eight people living there or what. The main thing to get your script, and to pay your power bill on time and never, ever, ever steal power in califonia! The stigma will officially stay with you the rest of your life unless you change your name or maybe move outta state.

I live on the cape with a lot of windmills. Our power is substantially cheaper than what is paid for in cali. The wind off the water also provides me with cooler temps in the summer months so I dont kick a lot out for a/c. I only turn it on when it get about 80 F. Also, I use electronic ballasts, and a lot of energy star products.

lastly, I have a 1000 watt wind turbine. I picked mine up off of ebay for 749.00 ...and I recommend them to all.

what does the 1000 watt wind tirbine do exactly and how big are they?

Well on windy days it generates up to 1000 watts of energy. I have only got up to 920watts with it in a day. Depending on where you live will depend on if you can have a windmill. Its a complicated process depending on where you live ( permits and town approvals etc.). I hired a contractor to instal. I purchased mine off ebay for 7749.00 ( typo above sorry). Total it was about 9k for the entire process but I spent about 5,500 a year on electric prior where as now I am in the 2200 to 2700 a year and it is always going down !

You live in Cali bro! Get your script and pay your bills. You will sleep a lot better at night. Do you think you are the only person with a 900 dollar electric bill in California? My buddies is 1500 a month and hes been doing it for 10 years. Relax
