Anyone recommend an automatic trimmer ? Have a decent size grow thinking about saving myself some time. Just not sure what brand to get.

Agreed I use a 19” bowl and it does an acceptable to me job on wet even using the serrated “dry” blade is terrible on dry

I always dry trim.

I have 4 of these. All manual, but gives a really nice final product when done. Can do a QP in a couple minutes but anything wet, it will not touch.

My dad ponied up for a Trim Bag and i gotta say i was skeptical, but he can do 2-3oz in lik---oh shit he's already done  and decently clean trim, keeps shake contained, it's pricey but can be worth it.

I have used a few brands in the past and recently got myself a twister T4. Did my first run a couple weeks back and I was impressed with it. It wasn't my best work on the growing side and the buds were pretty larfy but it still did good, a little hand touch-up at the end and it was good.

i have a procut mini and procut dry xl and know people with a centurionpro and t4 twister

both procut machines are really quiet machines and can be used in the same room while your doing other things while with the CP and twister, you better have some good ear plugs, they are really noisy

the only downside is powered procut trimmers are advertised as having usa made motors and when both motors broke, i took off the back panel and noticed it had china made motors, been trying to get some sort of warranty since sept but it hasnt happened yet, it was quicker to order a china motor than wait for procut

edit - i paid roughly 2500cdn for it and it has paid for itself, i've probably ran 300lbs through the smaller machine and probably saved 10k by only having to hire trimmers for 2 days, if things go south with it and i have to replace the drum, i will look into a centurionpro dbt trimmer

I use the iPower bowl 19". Used it on my last grow and also used it with my friends harvest. It's good for small buds, do the bigger by hand always. Pack the smaller buds in there while wet and it cuts decently. The sugar leaves retract a bit when drying so they look even better when finished. You might need to clean them up when finished if youre anal like me but if its personal then you can leave a couple small sugar leaves. My friends buds were foxtailing a bit so it was more difficult with them. Cost a little but I'm happy with it.

Edit: I first got it when my buds were dried and didn't work amazing, but when I used on my friends with fresh it worked great
