Best SoG kush?

Hi all,

Can I get some experienced opinions on the best kush, or kush cross, to grow in zero-veg clone-fed Sea of Green?

We're talking lots of small plants (4 per sq ft), basically as soon as they get a decent set of roots in the cloner they go right to 12/12 in the flowering room.

What I am looking for is high yield, high potency, high flower-to-leaf ratio, seriously main cola dominant. Would be nice if it was tasty and stinky, also short flowering time and short finishing height would be great but not absolutely necessary.

I am looking for something with a kush high, so a pure kush or a kush cross.

Right now I'm thinking Endless Sky by Dr.Greenthumb. Any thoughts on that, and any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Exactly, most kush are low yield, I'm growing some Purple Kush right now and it's not even main cola dominant, kinda useless for SoG :(

I'm looking for a "knock-you-on-yer-ass" kush effect, main cola dominance, high yield. I want a canopy of friggin pop bottles.

Here is a main cola dominant modern Kush line, its called X-Kush #1, a combination of our pre 98 Bubba and the purple Chitrali #1 which produced a far superior hybrid. It yields far more than Bubba Pure, tastes better and is more potent I think, definitely better quality of high.

As you can see for a modern Kush and pure Indica, produces some nice big cola's and these where grown with little veg time by a customer.

Grow report is on Breedbay of you want to check that out.

Peace, HHF

Sounds great!

How stable is it? Will I have to grow out a lot of moms to find the perfect one?

What's breedbay?
Hi,

It is very stable with only very slight variation in phenotype. You will only need to grow a packet to find similar plants to the above.

Those pics from the grow of 10 seeds, no more.

Glad you like.

Very interesting. That certainly yields much better than the Bubba Kush I am familiar with. Is it possible to elaborate a little bit on the difference in taste? I'm a taste snob. High potency is essential but I want my tastebuds to enjoy the experience as well. I've perused your selections and am most intrigued.

Yeh, Bubba is hard to get the weight from, this line isnt and it will deliver good solid yields even with little to no veg. Give them time to veg and a lot of root space they get huge!

The taste is unique combining the wonderful tastes of our Chitrali male's with the Bubbas depth of taste. Very nice on the palette and without that slightly chemy taste of the Bubba, but with all the depth.

A customer described the taste as this: The taste is strong, a mix of the finest nepalese charas, with lemon peel, and pine notes in the background, definitely the most floral and complex Indica.

I would go with that, over ripe lemons, peel and zests of citrus fruits, over a Nepalese Hashish base. The Chitrali is a old Hashish line from the Hindu Kush area and the Hash is world renowned for its unique tastes. Very nice on the palette I think.

Sounds like a winner to me.

I'll say. I checked out the grow journal, looks awesome! Not as high of a flower-to-leaf ratio as I was hoping for...

So what about that yield? I'm hoping for 1oz+ main cola with zero veg, rooted clone going straight to 12/12, 4 plants per sq ft. Does X-Kush #1 have what it takes?

you will never get a one ounce cola from any kush clone with zero veg

Al B Fuct was pulling 1.5oz per plant using Spice of Life Seeds' Sweet Tooth #4. Zero veg, clones get roots, and go into 12/12 in the flowering room.

I'm growing a Hindu Kush called Killawatt by Seedism. I've noticed most kush has quite a flowering stretch. This strain seems to work well with SOG, hits hard and is a very high yield.
