Best strains for various medicinal purposes

I have looked everywhere and have been unable to find a thread for strains and their medicinal uses. I, for one, would like to find the best strain possible for pain control. To all the medical patients out there, please help!

Indica for sure, widow is good, medibud, trainwreck. Lots of strains for pain. i like a deep, heavy hittin smoke that ca nput me on my ass from time to time!

Hmm. Mr nice(medicine man) is pretty good. Thats a hybrid but thats okay becasue it can work on the body and mind at the same time & treat pains that r caused by both.. But most heavy indicas are good like purple kush, Afghani goo. Purple kush can make u soooo sleepy though. Its good for a night smoke. In my opinion.
