image.jpeg day 55. Reserva privada og 18.Should be 2-3 weeks left. Orange spots on leaves, center of leaf. Looks like a boron def. rx nutes 1200 ppm. Showed up out of nowhere, one plant. Thoughts? Sorry, best pic I could get with lights on.image.jpeg

Probably just light burn. I wonder if extra boron would be helpful for growth or potency though. It could be supplied by borax powder. It would take such a small amount that it probably wouldn't alter pH much. Guess I'll have to look into it and see how important boron is.

Actually it does look important;

"While boron is an important nutrient on its own, it also has a positive impact on the uptake of potassium and phosphorus in many plants. In short-term experiments, uptake of potassium and phosphorus were severely reduced under low boron conditions." http://www.cropnutrition.com/borons-importance-in-plant-development-and-growth

A hydro solution would need about 5 mg of borax per liter, or 3 mg of boric acid. Not many hydro brands show how much micros are in them on the label. I have no idea how much boron is in mine. Too much is bad though, though I wouldn't exceed the amounts I mentioned.

Someone told me more cal mag. I'm already at 7ml per gallon, they love it in veg. I thought it would be too much but I had to raise it to stop it from spotting. Being that it is late in flower and the plant changes, could this possibly be too much at this stage in its life?

With two or three weeks left i wouldnt worry about it at all. I mean its just a few spots... if it is something serious it wont have time to ramp up before harvest...unless youre doing hydro...

Did you figure it out or is it getting worse?

Yea I think so. I noticed that it started when I started watering the days in between feeds. Week 6 they started to suck a 5 gallon dry in less then 24 hours. So I feed, water, feed . Water. Daily. I think the plants were lacking the cal mag on days when I just watered. I started adding cal mag at 3ml gallon to the water on water only days and it stopped instantly. I also have well water, the ppm in the water and the minerals are always changing depending on what's going on in the ground. But I think I got it. She was just hungry for minerals. Live and learn. First plants I've done that literally sucked a 5 gallon dry. Gonna build an automated waterer for the next run. Set it up on an auto feeder
