Can you make dry sift with just a single screen?

First time doing this, I want to try the dry sift method but I am not sure if you need anything more than a 90 (+-) micron screen. I have seen some youtubers using only one, but most people use 4 or so. Is it ok using just one?

Are you vaxxed? Booster? If not I think you are restricted of what micron you can even buy.

110 screen. 10 second gentle pass. Collect.

Then a 30 seconds to 1 min slightly more aggressive. Collect.

then a 2 min to get all the goodies for baking or tinctures.

i personally press so if you press just do a 1 to 2 min gentle pass and bag it up and press.

Yes, you can use single screen dry sift, absolutely! Consider the old-school methods up in the mountains of some place like Afghanistan or Nepal. Basic, handmade, simple sifting with screen and pressing with bricks. There are modern methods of-course, but to try it out, first time or two, give it a try. I started making hash this same way, experimenting with pressure and heat using dry-sift kief. It's the simplest, cheapest way to try it. Using multiple finer mesh screen gets awesome results and different 'grades' of kief. Finer grades produce better product, but even single screen dry-sift can be most enjoyable and worth the effort.

Yeah of course but the quality will not be as good as if you refine it in stages. Most clean dry sift I've gotten to make rosin with has been almost white in color from 3 layers of screening AFTER it was already "dry sift" from a trim machine.

A standard 190 or 220 micro work bag is all I'd need but you can get a set of bubble bags for £20/30.

Imo you would need to be a hash connoisseur to tell the difference between the grades it's all damn good.
