CFL

Could anyone give me an idea of how for example a 315cfl measures up against normal MH and swapping to HPS I'm aware of CFL being a better spectrum than regular MH. Something about the ceramic allowing a hotter element which gives a fuller spectrum. This is what I have read. But what I want to know is what a 315cfl measures up against. Anyone please?

The reason nobody is answering you is because a cfl is a "compact flourescent light". What you're talking about is a cmh "ceramic metal halide".
Ha nice one centurion. I've let the chance to buy one go by as it seemed to be suspiciously cheap

Cmh/cdm is great for quality, hps will beat it in quantity above 250w...... It's up to you

Cfl are garbage on the efficiency scale
