hi!
could someone pls help me with the problem im facing.
i believe its a potassium lockout.
im feeding only maxibloom currently as earlier i was adding cal nit and epsom which only aggravated the problem. my coco has been buffered with 15ml/gal of calmag and maxibloom has enough of cal and mg i was told.
i had been feeding at ph6-6.1 twice a day but i read elsewhere that i could go as low as ph5.2. i did try and it seemed to slow down the deterioration but not totally. the inflow ec is 1200 and pretty much the same comes (around 20-40%) out as the runoff probably 50ppm more. ive read that the runoff ph isnt that important but its at ph6.4.
how could i salvage this grow? ive tried flushing a couple of times with 0.7 ec ph6 but didnt seem to help.
the leaf tips begin to get soft and then crispy. upper growth leaves and shoots are growing pretty slow and small. it begins with the lower leaves turning pale and seemingly rough to the touch.
im using ro water because my tap is pretty high. I tried mixing tap with ro water and fed only maxibloom and got a serious mag deficiency (proper yellowing and spots on leaves)
I’m using led lights but I’ve done a couple of dwc grows with the quantum boards without any issues using only maxibloom from start to finish but gave up due to root rot issues. now im facing this with coco...

I don't know about all that scientific stuff to a perfection , but your plants are far from suffering . Lay of the watering until almost completely dry , make the roots grow more by looking deeper for water in the soil, then water . I myself make my own soil, and add this and that to get what I know works. The main things I focus on are topping, pruning, and trying to get maximum. I used to worry about PH my water, Add this , add that , more of this less of that ,flush flush flush ,But now I keep it simple. I grow from seed straight into 5 gallon from germination, I focus mainly on soil PH , Hell half the time I just give them Tap Water bahaha, and i only use these below , plus CO2 I make toward the end Flower w/ I think it's called Calcium Carbonate I cant remember , need order more.... basically what I figured out is a good medium , and keep it simple , don't over water , over heat , over light, over nute ..... Ok crap was going to send you pics of what I use now days but they are in with my plants that sleeping 12/12 ,I try later tonight remember.....Keep It Simple . Here's mine keeping it super simple ..

And I use Coco Coir, but I mix it half and half ,so my plants pretty much don't need anything extra to survive , only add to promote greater yields

If you're using maxibloom at this stage, I would think the plant wants more N and maybe some of the micronutrients that maxibloom doesn't have. Maxibloom has N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Fe, and Mo. It lacks B, Mn, Zn, Cl, Mb, Cu...

If you're using GH dry nutes, I would do maxigro until the first two weeks of flower stretch, then switch to maxibloom. I supplement micros with Cytoplus.

Your EC is pretty high for this early in Veg. I don't know your meter's conversion factor to TDS but at that stage I'm running 200 to 300 TDS

ive done grows in dwc using only maxibloom from start to finish. there r other coco growers who also use only maxibloom without calmag as it has enough.
