It’s a pretty nice fit in a 4x4 tent.

The plant going into the tent is already well into ins veg cycle. It will be trained into the trellis to fill as much of the tent as I comfortably can.

I went and got the trellis ready for her, I know it’s a little late, but I had to wait for the tent to be available, and I wanted to also up pot to a 5 gallon pot prior to getting her tangled up in the net.

I’ve kept the light at 20% (lowest setting)
Temps have remained in the low 70’s which is ok with me since humidity has been low (40-45%) & I am not going to add a humidifier.
I do like being in good standing with vpd, and I monitor the environment regularly with my inkbird.. however I’ve come to realize that the weed is still better than the laced garbage in the street even with low humidity.

I couldnt agree more. Growing 1 plant in 4x4 with 660w. Vegged for 80 days from putting seed into pot, flipped to 12 hrs one month ago today July 18th. she has filled out well. Using a 30+ gallon recycled tree pot. No netting! Topped, lollipopped and kushmaned with some lst! You can do whatever you want. Just enjoy it. The best fun with a plant to date has always been the single plant flowering, just my opinion! This one is 28 inches out of pot and close to 4' wide as I've come.

I love the idea of just one plant. Less plants to please. They don’t all like the same feeding. Most newer growers would probably try growing lots of different strains, but I’d rather keep something perpetual-ish going. So I always have another plant waiting to make it into the 4x4. This also helps me get to know the strain & its limits on feeding. Makes things simpler for myself. The trade off being a longer veg. Well worth it to gain knowledge on the plant with my undivided focus.
I have seen that monster you got going. That’s a huge mamajama lol I will be looking into much larger pots. I have 5gal pots & 7 gal potato grow bags, but the 7gal are too tall for my liking. Once I’m ready, I’ll be picking up a low profile fabric bed for the tent.

When it came to transplanting, I didn’t waste any time. I used an exacto knife & sliced the seam on the 3gal pot.

I slapped a couple Extreme gardening mykoz packs in the 5gal pot.
*Soil being added to the new pot will be recycled FFOF amended 1:1 with ewc.

Watered everything in with 5ml of fish sh!t/gal.
since this was a transplant into a huge pot, I saturated the entire pot. Given all the new soil not housing roots.. it will be a few days befor she will need a full watering, but I will monitor her top layer for moisture, and water minimally as needed.

This is she.. the next day. (Today)

So far the light is doing the job. I have yet to hit her with power over 20% (132w)
Her canopy is about 2ftx2ft, however that’s about to change. Well.. it’s already changed since these pics. We did a little work today.

Today she went into the 1st level of the trellis.
Before Ilowered the net, I went around to every branch to twist them between nodes, alternating the direction I twisted as I went down each branch. I just needed them to have a little play so no accidental snapping occurs.
We don’t need that. Bad enough while lowering the net one small branch coming up the center was decapitated :wall:

Quick update:
Everything seems to be going pretty smoothly. The plant has been asking for more food so I raised feed from 8ml per gal of A+B to 12ml per gallon. She has almost filled the net. I will be adjusting the timer today.
During flower I will be running at night with the cooler temps. Current light schedule is on at 6am/12am off. The light will run all night, and be turned off at 8am

The plant looks terrific, I love the training you're doing. Can't wait to see it start flowering and earning it's keep for you.
Thanks. I love the method. Tho I could still be doing it more efficiently I’m sure, I’ll take what I get in the end. I have flipped the light so they are now on an upward path from the level of the first net. I will add the other layer after 2-3 weeks into flip so I can do a final pruning beforehand. After that they won’t be touched. Only fed & fanned. This is a close up I took a few mins ago. I’m liking the early trichome production on the leaves already. 94B4A781-DC80-47CA-B244-81175B6CA1A6.jpeg

Pics taken yesterday. Added my method seven sticker to the light for a reminder to protect my eyes as I have the light raised all the way up, and I’m exposed whenever in front of the open tent.
This girl is said to not be much of a stretcher, so I’ll be letting her reach during stretch.
updated pics to come later this evening to show growth in the last 24hrs
Light is at 40% and showing signs of light stress on the tips.. but again.. this could be the result of the lower humidity. Either way I’m not going to worry. My plants aren’t always the prettiest, but the smoke is good enough to sit a seasoned set of lungs down for a time out occasionally.

I may result to adding moist pots of soil to the tent to raise rh a bit. The water bucket & towel method work, however I think the moist soil will be a bigger help. I have plenty of floor space.
Here is a recent snapshot of my environments. Lights are off on the Banana Kush in this shot. (Last pic)
Device being used is the IBS-TH1 by @Inkbird
Shown in 1st pic. The probe attached is hanging in the center of the tent, about 10” above the canopy.
