haha 2 pages on this thread and only one person hit on the problem here. They were cut too early.. The plant was not finished and the buds did not ripen. Just like fruit has to ripen . If you ever notice homegrown tomatoes allowed to ripen on the plant tastes 10 times better than the ones you buy in the store that were picked green and allowed to ripen in a box. It just wasn't ready yet.
