Just a few observations: I'll try not to sound like a dick. That's truly not my intent. In the first place, DNA are indeed good at one thing: marketing. Catchy name. Appearing in a few YouTube videos while wearing Flatbills and oversized SeanJohn Tees. Contriving tedious, detailed strain descriptions such as" this is what the Rappers rap about." And yet, having personally tried quite a few of their offerings over the years, I cannot without smirking, entertain the notion that any of their gear has encroached upon the Grail of truly elite clones currently possessed by the growing community, many of which are local to the coast here in Central CA. A quality pheno expression could come from anybody's stock, even Subcool( Ok maybe not Subcool)
But that's all it is. A quality pheno.
Further, how can you possibly know that the specimen you're currently in possession of, without a bloom and cure stage, is worthy of keeping, much less breeding, value? Example: I just grew out three packs of Bodhi's Blockhead and I'm keeping one female from that bunch.
Not in reference to your post specifically, but there's just lots and lots and lots of eye-rollingly difficult to read breeding talk going on lately, as well as growers championing a trait expression simply because a few trichs ran down onto the leaves.
But i wish you luck on your quest.
