hey good to hear we got a club. Now i assume that sublingual tinctures work for all of you.
And you continue to use that way. So, how long does it take to get high, and how long does
the high last? And then, how do you make it so that it works? I have set all of you in "follow" so
I can get the help i want to figure out how to make the damn tinctures work. I have had no luck
with it whatsoever. I do not want stinky smoke all over the house or the neighborhood. They're
hateful enough without their thinking i'm some kind drug addicted, pot-smoking hippie around here.

Learn to make RSO/FECO. A syringe full of that can be used to infuse butter, oil, alcohol, put into capsules, made into a topical and so on. Great way to make strong tinctures with measured amounts vs the ancient tech of soaking everything for a month,filtering it and calling it good.

But, I wish people would stop talking about how i can put an extract into caps or butter or something edible.
I AM TRYING TO MAKE SUBLINGUAL TINCTURES. Everybody wants to eat this stuff. Takes 2 hours to get high,
then you stay high for 8 hours or more.
I want it so you put a drop or two under your tongue, wait 15 to 30
minutes, then get nice and buzzed for 2 or 3 or 4 hours, and then come down, almost like smoking it, but different.
Eating it, doing edibles, jeeze, you're high for a freakin' week. Can there be a happy medium? I thot tinctures
was the way to go, so that you do not alert the entire county you live in that you just lit up a big, fat rooter,
and then they either come to your house to steal it from you, or with a rope to hang you because you're dirty,
rotten, stinking hippy, drug addict. This is so exasperating. Four years now i've been trying to learn how to do this.
I had to go online, and see, "well, before you can make a tincture you have to decarb the nugs". DECARB!?!?! WHAT?
So i had to try to learn how to do that WITHOUT smelling up my house and the hood. So i finally found a process
I THINK. I'm not sure if my decarb process is right or not. Look, i don't want to decarb at all. NO i do not! I just
want to buy a tincture that a drop or 4 or even a whole dropper would work, as they SAY tinctures supposedly work!
That's all i really want to do. I don't want to manufacture anything. I don't want to learn how to manufacture anything.
I buy these phony tinctures from the store and they do NOTHING, even if i drop 4 full eyedropper full, NO HIGH AT ALL.
So, okay, I'll bloody make my own then. I buy everclear, i figure out how to decarb using a boiling bag and a small
mason jar, in water for 90 minutes at 180 degrees, or 212 degress, what ever, and hopefully decarb, then put that
into the refrigerated 190 proof alcohol, shake it for a minute, put it back into the freezer, strain it, the whole deal, this
whole, drawn out process, and all so that it does NOT SMELL UP the house. :SIGH: It's drivin' me nuts, i tell ya, NUTS!

MCT oil is a form of coconut oil that makes a wonderful sublingual tincture unless you enjoy the scorching burn of everclear. And like I say,dissolving a gram or two of oil into 25 ml of oil will be much stronger than if you extract everything into X amount of oil by submerging.

Probably easier for you to decarb RSO after you make it vs the route you have been going. Hope this attempt at help doesn't piss you off as bad as my prior ones....

Graywolf's site is a terrific resource. Tincture is the main way that I medicate. I make green dragon tincture and then evaporate it down to about 1/4 of the starting volume in a glass measuring cup. It takes about a week to evaporate down to where the strength is right for me. Then I store it in the freezer in a syringe and just put it in whatever I'm drinking like coffee, water or Gatorade. It takes affect in about an hour or so and in 2 it's fully developed. The high is different than smoking as I'm more functional I think and it lasts for about 4-5 hours depending on the amount I took and if I ate anything with it. It's really good for my nerve pain and depending on the strain can help with insomnia too. Hope you find a way that works for you as it's a great way to medicate.

I will decarb in a 240 degree oven for 45 minutes in a covered Pyrex baking dish. The cover helps to contain the stink a little - but that cover does eventually come off. The decarbed weed goes right into the mason jar and is covered with the rum immediately. The lid then goes on and further contains any weed smell. There is far less odour making the tincture compared to making butter or coconut oil where you slow steep for hours after decarb.
Suggestion - are you a coffee drinker? Could you brew a pot just as you start the decarb to help mask the bud stink?

Well, yeah, but that's an edible, and i am looking at sublingual application, which hopefully won't
last longer than 3 or 4 hours max. I assume it takes effect more quickly than edible too, from what
i have read. They say sublingually, you'll feel effects with 15 to 30 mins, edible, like 2 hours, and
effects last sublingually like 3 hours, and edibles like you said 5 hours, and the edibles i've done
lasted me like 8 or 12 hours (i probly ate too much). Thanks for the help, don't give up on me, man.
Yeah, man graywolf's truly a legend in his own time. We're lucky to have him, for reals.
I decarbed using a half pint or pint (whatever size it is) mason jar, inside a boiling bag, in a
large pot of 200 degree water for like 90 minutes. I let it cool, take it outside, remove the bag,
remove the jar, and then go about extraction from there using freezer chilled 190 proof everclear,
shaking vigorously, and then keeping it in the freezer, where it now the remains to this day. My
log shows I did this extraction (my first and only one from decarb to extraction) in February, 2022.
I won't do it at all, if it is going to smell up my house. I can't have my house smell dank, I wish it
did not matter. But in my part of the world, even tho it is legal,people are either theives or they're
cops, and if they smell it, then i have to be concerned. Call me paranoid, i don't care.
I have tried to find ways of decarbing, but I bought the Activation 420 machine thinking it'd work, but
once I got it, I knew it would not, so I never tried it at all. Besides, it got slightly bent in shipment.

I am trying to
make a sublingual tincture that will work. I am trying to decarb the product without smells if it
will work. I am trying to determine if sublinguals tinctures react in my human body the way it is said that
they do (15 to 30 minutes to get high, 2 to 3 hour duration of high). Smoking is immediate high,
lasting 1 to 2 hours; edible is 2 hours to get high, and a 4 to 8 hour duration of high. TIncture, seems to
me to be the optimum way to do this, THEORETICALLY, that is. I have no idea, so far. NONE. So far
it has been exasperatingly difficult for me. I'm just not that smart, dammit.
